The lights of the Manor were left on. Granny was still awake. Jonathan had to get the blood that Scarecrow got over their clothes before she saw. He walked in, almost silently, but saw Granny standing there, a cane in her hand, the suit in the other.
"Forgive me lord, For I have sinned, I have welcomed a demon into my house." She whispered, as she gave Jonathan the suit.
"Don't think you can get away with this. Staying out with a girl and doing… Lord knows."
She dragged him outside, the rain pattering against his soft ginger hair. This time there was no fight because he knew what was going to happen. He pushed her against the wall.
"I will not take any more of this!" He screamed at her, attempting to scare her.
"You talk back, boy, and I'll have to leave you there longer." She said as she tried to push him in. He held onto the door, and chucked her in, throwing a vile of the compound over her. Locking the door, he laughed a little, enjoying the new found power he had.
"Mary, Mary, Quite contrary, how does your garden grow, with silver bells and cockle shells, cowslips all in a row." Scarecrow began singing, his voice crackly, as he walked away.
