They reached the door and Dean held out a key to Cas.
"Will you do the honours?"
Cas took it and opened the door swiftly. He stepped inside and gasped.
The floors were wooden, but soft and clean, the walls were plain, horizontal planks. There was a small kitchenette by the door, with pale wooden cabinets, an old fashioned stove and a huge fridge. Opposite was a small dining table with four wooden, intricately carved, chairs set around it, and a huge window facing out into the lake. There was a partition, which set apart the front of the cabin and the back, Cas stepped through it and marveled at the rest of the home.
There was a huge, rustic fireplace set into the left side wall, with long windows either side, a small oak coffee table sat in the centre of the room, surrounded by a plush beige sofa, and 2 tan armchairs. A door stood at the back of the room, while the rest of that wall was taken up by a huge bookcase, with sections for ornemants and small draws. Cas opened the door to find the bedroom. A giant four poster bed, with indigo sheets and pillows, took up most of the room, there was a nightstand at each side, and a dresser opposite the bed. Covering the entire left wall, was a floor to ceiling window, with a small, glass door leading onto a balcony. It was partially concealed by some navy curtains, with constalations painted across them. While on the right wall, were two doors, the furthest leading to a walk in wardrobe, with shelves and compartments of dark oak, the other, to the bathroom.
The bathroom was tiled with black marble, there was a shower in the back left corner, a stretch of counter covering the back wall, with two sinks and a huge mirror, and a corner bath with enough space for 2. Of course there was a toilet aswell.
Cas turned around slowly, still taking everything in. He saw Dean's expression and laughed.
"You look worried?"
"Do you like it?"
"It's wonderful. Where did you rent it from Dean?"
"I didn't rent it...."
"So, we're breaking into someone else's home?"
"No Cas. It's mine."
"WHAT??!"
"I saw the cabin a long time ago, almost 2 years. It was a bit of a shit hole back then. So.... I went to find the owner, who turned out to be a very old widdow who didn't want it anymore. She owned 4 acres of land around the cabin"
"Owned? Is she...."
"No no. God no. She is fine. She lives in an old estate a few miles away, anyway. She had a ghost issue. It turned out to be her dead husband, we sorted it out, and she said she owed me."
"So she gave you the cabin?"
"She gave me more than just the cabin Cas. She gave me the 4 acres of land, and half a million, to rejuvenate this old hut"
"You did all this?"
"I did a lot of it, I had some help with furniture."
"Sam?"
"No. I hired some people. Sam doesn't know about this. In fact no-one does"
"It's amazing Dean. It really is."
"It was originally gonna be a back up, a safe house of sorts. Still needs decorating properly. This could be our little place Cas. We could decorate it together. Make it ours"
"I would like that very much Dean" Cas said, leaning in and kissing Dean gently.
"Good, I'll unpack and then we can have dinner. Tommorrow we are doing some shopping"
"OK baby" Cas grinned. He had never been so happy in his life, and it was all because of Dean.

After Dean had unpacked, Cas made him relax and have a bath while he cooked. He wanted to do something nice for Dean, seeing as all of this so far was for himself.
He hung his trench coat in the coat hooks by the door, locked up, and started preparing the food.

"Dinners ready baby" Cas called, and Dean came in from the bedroom, wearing a white Button up shirt and suit bottoms. He looked nice, but casual. Cas took his tie off and lit the candles he had put on the table. Dean sat opposite Cas' seat and watched him in the kitchen.
Cas bent to get something out of the oven, and Dean smirked at his view.
"Enjoying yourself Dean?" Cas said cockily as he swayed his ass sexily.
"Yeah" Dean laughed.
Cas came over with dinner and placed it in front of Dean. It was steak, gratin potatoes, Stilton sauce and peas.
"Bit posh" Dean smiled.
"Only the best for you Dean"
They chatted over dinner, discussing their plans for the cabin and just general life. They tried to avoid talking about hunting, as they lived it every day and sometimes it was nice to get away from it all.
