20. Bad Moon Rising

"You OK?" Sam scowled as he watched Dean lowered himself into a chair carefully.
"Yeah, just got thrown on my ass"
He shared a quick glance with Cas and then laughed.
Sam laughed at him and asked what they spent the rest of the time doing.
"Nothing much. Just went to some bars. Got layed, the waitress was smokin' and I couldn't resist" Dean grinned.
"Oh really? About time"
"What's that supposed to mean?"
"I just noticed that you haven't been interested in girls as much since the Egyptian god thing"
"Nah, I was just busy"
"Did he keep you up Cas? " Sam laughed.
Cas, who was quite obviously annoyed about the conversation, smiled and said "Yes. He was quite loud. It was especially distressing when he yelled at the end"
Dean flushed and looked away as Sam laughed hysterically.
"I'm glad I missed that"
"Yeah. Ha. Ha" Dean snapped.

Cas and Dean laughed about it later and as they snuggled up to bed Dean turned and kissed Cas goodnight.
"I know Castiel. Come and face me. Angel to angel. Cedar ridge state Park, Manhattan. I'm waiting." It was not a voice he recognised.
Cas leapt out of bed, scribbled a note with the address on it, and flew.

When Cas arrived he wasn't sure where to go, it's a huge park, but then he saw a light in the sky, it was angelic no doubt. He followed it to the source, and found 3 angels waiting by a park bench.
"What do you want?"
Suddenly he was ambushed. At least four other angels pinned him to the ground, and the other three grabbed their weapons and approached.
"Your feelings have made you week. We know about you and the hunter Dean Winchester. Frankly we are all disgusted. You have sinned. 'If a man lies with a male as with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination; they shall surely be put to death' and you have layed with Dean, so to speak"
"We did a lot more than laying"
"How dare you."
"God doesn't Care. He doesn't care about anything. Anyone. He gave up"
"That is why we have to deal with you. Death is far to good for you. For your sins Castiel, you will pay the worst price"
Cas tried to wriggle out of their grips desperately, but to no avail.
"You will see the man you 'love' go on to another and live happily without you."
"What the hell does that mean?" Cas screamed. The angels sneered.
"You'll see"
Suddenly all the angels vanished and Cas was left alone. He stood slowly, looking around, something was different but he couldn't put his finger on it.
What did they mean? Where have they gone? I have to get back to Dean!
He couldn't. He tried to fly, but he couldn't.
My wings. I'm fallen. Deal with it later! I need a car.
Cas managed to hitch a lift with a lovely lady called Liane and her boyfriend Chris. They were on their way to Kansas city for their anniversary, so they were happy to drop Cas off on the way.
"What were you doing in Cedar Ridge? It's dangerous mate. You should read the signs"
"What?"
"The Mines."
"Mines.... In Cedar ridge!?"
"Dud where have you been living? Its a weapons testing area.... Surrounded by mines"
"No, its a state park"
The couple looked at each other worriedly and Chris looked back to Cas.
"It was a state park 20 years ago......."
"WHAT!" Cas panicked and yelled.
"Woah calm down"
"SHIT. WHAT YEAR IS IT" Cas almost never swore, but he was terrified and so very human.
"What year is it? Dude are you ok?"
"No. I'm far from alright. What year is it..... Please"
"2058"
Cas slumped back in the seat and sobbed quietly.
Liane pulled the car over.
"Do you need to see a doctor?" She seemed genuinely concerned.
"No I just....." Cas noticed something on Liane's neck, a tattoo. "Can I?"
She nodded and he moved her plaid shirt to the side a little, revealing an anti possession symbol. Cas sucked in a breath.
"Do you know what this means?" Liane pointed to her tattoo.
"Your a hunter!"
"Im sure I don't know what you mean."
"Yes you do. It's an anti possession..."
They were still looking suspiciously at him, probably thinking he didn't didn't know what he was talking about.
"Exorcizamus te omnis immundus spiritus, omnis satanica potestas, omnis incursio-"
"OK, I believe him" Chris interrupted.
"Please.... This is going to sound crazy, but I'm from the past."
"I've seen it happen, but how do we know its happened to you?"
"Why would I lie? Please, I need help. Do you know of the winchesters?"
Chris and Liane looked to one another and back at Cas.
"Yes......"
