"Again!" Aiden demanded. Each of us crouched low and began to circle one another again. We started the fighting portion of our training earlier this week, which thrilled and terrified me. I had instantly partnered with Travis, knowing he would go easy on me at first.
I was wearing a black, lose tank top, mint green sports bra, and white leggings with accents of grey. I was in love with the leggings and the tank top. The top hid the extra weight I was still working on losing, and the accents on the leggings made my calves and butt look fantastic. Aiden agreed, which is why we were late for class today. I sent him ahead of me so it didn't look too suspicious, but the way my friends snickered when I walked in... I had a feeling they knew why we both arrived late.
Travis rushed me without a single sign. I dodged him, keeping my back to him as he went by. He turned on his heel and went for my shoulder. As soon as he had a grip on my right shoulder, I grabbed his arm, yanked it forward, and with a little help from my hip, I threw him over me. He landed on his back with a large thud, and I threw myself over top of him.
Straddling his waist, I swung my fist towards his face. His right hand crossed his body and caught mine just before it connected with his jaw. His left hand grabbed my shoulder again, and he rolled, pushing me face first into the red mat we were fighting on. In a flash he has my arm bent behind me, and is holding me down with his full body weight. I struggle for a few moments, trying to get my legs underneath me. Travis catches on, so he twists and lays his leg across mine, effectively pinning me to the floor.
"Damnit." I growled before using my free hand to smack the mat, signaling my surrender. Travis chucked and climbed off me. I rolled over and stayed on my back, staring at the ceiling. I blew out a sigh before saying "Maybe we can just be a team. I can be the brains, and you the brute strength. I'm not good at this fighting thing, Travis leaned over me, his brown hair hanging slightly past his eyes. He smiled and said "That's not true. That flip was really good. You didn't even hurt yourself today!"
I rolled my eyes and swatted at him. He jumped back out of my reach, but his face was quickly replaced by Aiden. Humor filled his blue/grey eyes, and my heart fluttered for a moment.
"That was a lot better, Rosalie. I want to switch it up though. I want you to do this last round with Hannah, and Travis will be with Michael." He said. My eyes went wide. Aiden offered me a hand and pulled me to my feet. I swallowed hard and looked over at Hannah, who was adjusting her ponytail. Her long brown hair reached passed her shoulders, even with it up. Her all lime green workout attire didn't make her look all that threatening, but her defined arms, and subtle six pack had me shaking in my sneakers,
I cast one last look to Travis, begging him with my eyes to save me. He offered me a reassuring smile and a shrug instead. I made a mental note to kill both Travis and Aiden later, then slowly made my way to Hannah. She was laughing with her brother when I walked up and cleared my throat She turned to me and looked me up and down, an annoyed expression crossing her face.
"Aiden wants us together on the last go around." I told her. Bryan didn't even try and hide his laugher, which made me even more nervous. Hannah smirked at me and said "That works for me." I started to ask her what crawled up her ass today, but Aiden's booming voice cut me off.
"Alright, let's do one more round and then we are done for the day." He told us. Bryan cut his eyes to me, and after lingering on my chest for a bit too long, he looked into my eyes and said "Good luck. You'll need it." Then he strolled over to his mat where Ethan stood, looking so scared he was green, waiting for their fight.
I positioned myself across from Hannah, my anger swelling. I hadn't done anything to her, and I had even been avoiding her creepy brother, so why was she in such a mood today? Maybe her bra was too tight.
