When I woke up, I was alone. I stretched my entire body slowly, and let out a loud moan. I sunk back into the mattress and looked around. I hadn't had much time to take in my surroundings last night.
The king mattress was across from the door. The floors were the same hardwood that was in the rest of the apartment. On the right, a door sat to the left of a large six drawer dresser. I assumed the door led to the bathroom Cody had said was in this room. To my left was a floor to ceiling bookcase. The bottom four shelves were stocked with hard and paper backed books, while the top four were empty.
Next to that was a black wooden desk. A desk lamp sat quietly on the the top right corner. Above me, pot lights glowed very softly. I realized that I had no windows, so I guess leaving the lights on was the only way to see.
I sighed and decided it was time to get up. I sat up and threw the black sheets off of me. I padded over to the bathroom and sold my hand around the wall until I found the switch. I flipped on the light and flinched from the sudden brightness.
The bathroom was huge. A stand up shower stood next to a deep garden tub. The tub had a pillow stuck against the back wall, and a candle sat on the corner. The vanity was long, but had only one sink. A small chair was tucked under the counter. On the wall hung black and white towels from a long rack.
I turned to the mirror and studied my reflection. I had hickies on both sides of my collarbone, as well as finger shaped bruises forming on my thighs. I shook my head and laughed softly.
I didn't expect to be sleeping with anyone last night, but I sure as Hell wasn't going to pass up that chance.
My poor dirty blonde hair was suffering from a bad case of bed head, and my lips were slightly swollen. My eyes were puffy from the crying, but my eyes shimmered with an intensity I had never seen before. They went from a basic hazle to a brilliant light brown with specks of jade green.
"Wow." I breathed, mesmerized by my own gaze. I eventually tore my eyes from their reflection and checked the rest of my body for any enhancement.
I was still short, and still a bit... thick. I had wide hips, and big thighs that had a few stretch marks on the inside. I sighed and said to myself "Oh well. I guess Hell isn't full of miracle workers... but Cody wasn't complaining last night."
"Your right." A deep voice from behind me said. I jumped and spun around, suddenly very aware I was standing naked in the bright lights.
Cody leaned against the door frame, clothes in hand, a towel slung low on his hips. He was drinking me in, and I felt heat rise on my cheeks.
Finally, his eyes found mine. I saw a subtle blush under his tanned skin. He cleared his throat and said "I um... I want to apologize for last night. I had absolutely no intentions of doing... that. You were just so sad, but at the same time still had a sense of humor, which I find incredible and I..." He trailed off. His blush deepened and he laughed once."I'm sorry. We can very much pretend this didn't happen, if you'd like." He told me. I felt a small pang of saddness. I didn't wat to pretend it didn't happen. That was the best sex of my life. I'd remember that forever.
I cleared my throat and said "It's uhh, it's okay. That wasn't what I was looking for either when I asked you to stay but... it was a nice way to end a rather crappy day."
Cody chuckled. Lazily he pulled his right wrist up and checked his watch. His eyes widened and he said "Unfortunately, I have to go. I should have been in my office half an hour ago, and your breakfast wakeup call will be here in about twenty minutes. I think you'll like her."
