I woke up in the morning , with the rays of sun , I turned to found the other side of bed empty. 

' Kabir ' ?

I checked washroom , balcony , he is nowhere .

His towel was not there , means he had not taken bath . Then where is he ?

I get down after getting ready , today I applied sindoor (vermilion) , giving him an indirect assurance that I'm his

As I was descending down stairs , I saw my handsome , entering home , all sweating .

' From where is he coming ? '

"Good morning "
he wished with a smile .

"Morning"
" Where were you " ?
I asked him .

Instead of answering , he smiled widely , coming closer to me , looking at my sindoor (vermilion)  , I stepped back , with my each back step , he stepped forward .

I was feeling a  tension in  between us , I hit the dinning table ,
"Kabir "
I said nervously .

We were inches apart ,
what is he up to ?
My breaths turned to deep one's ,
sweat buds forming on my forehead. 

His hand passed by my side ,
taking a glass of water from the table ,
"park"  he mouthed ,
sipping water he moved to the kitchen .

Leaving me open mouthed ,
HE and park ,  since when ?

Later everyone gathered at the table for breakfast , he  was sitting opposite to me , beside dad .

After filling my plate ,
I just saw in his direction ,
to found hum already glancing at me , with sipping his coffee .

I blushed and looked down , like this we were having breakfast , stealing glances at each other , smiling , blushing , in the presence of mom and dad .

Navneet came busy on some call ,
took  chair beside me , my smile faded , obviously I don't like him sitting beside me .

But I tried to stay calm , composed , normal . I looked up at Kabir , whose face has turned from firm to stern now . Mom served him food , breaking the awkward silence .

After completing food , Kabir went to office with dad , not before saying "bye" to me , privately , when I gave him his cellphone , which he almost always forget to carry .

" Masi (aunty) ,
I have some official  work ,
so  I'll come by the evening "
Navneet said to mom and ge too left .

"But why today , you said about a day after tomorrow , earlier  "
Mom was speaking to someone on call , while I was done with kitchen .
