Arranged By Fate

Rashi , is  a  25 years old lecturer .
Trying hard in her career , to achieve great goals .

Once , her parents found a boy suitable for her , as according to them and their society girls should get married by this age .

The boy , Navneet came with his parents to meet Rashi's family .
Navneet works in some company (Temporary job) ,
But not well established yet , though he has some parental property .

Everything was going good , &  the rishta was fixed  with the approval of everybody .
Chats between Navneet & Rashi also started .

Preparations were on high peak , and the day of engagement was fixed by the priest .

5 days before engagement

Navneet parents are searching for him to go to market , but he is nowhere to be found .
Few hours passed , but no one knows anything about him.

They dialled his number several times but it was coming switch off .
Navneet's elder brother come to the living room , showing a letter to his father .

Dear mummy & papa ,

I'm sorry , I can't do this marriage .
I'm having reason but I can't tell you now . Please forgive me , and try to understand . It's about of my whole life . Bid my sorry to Rashi  too .

Navneet

Everything , was shattered .
They reported a complaint in police station , to find Navneet as soon as possible .

They managed their emotions & gave the news to Rashi's parents too .

After few arguments + discussion , Navneet's parents departed from Rashi's  house .
As now nothing is under their control .

Shopping , inviting relatives , booking palace , caterers ,  all was done .
And now ,they have to cancel everything .

That day went sadly , the whole house was SILENT . Only few voices of utensils , running water from taps , etc.....were heard .

"It's okay papa , please don't be upset .
You always say na  everything happens for a good cause . So is it . "
Rashi consoled her dad .

"See , our daughter is all grown up .
She is consoling us while she is the one who got most judgements by this "
Rashi's mom said .

" Mammaa , I think it's better he ran before engagement "
" What would have happened if he ran after engagement or after  me getting married to him "

Her parents got some relaxation after this . But she is really disturbed by this incident , though not showing it up .

After 2  days

Again everybody was busy ,
but this time the spark of happiness is now replaced by sadness .
As they were engaged in cancelling one or the other thing .

"  Papa , Rajesh uncle & his wife
are standing at door "
Rashi's brother,  informed this .

"Bring them in beta , go & open the gate "

Rajesh and Navneet's father are cousins .

Rajesh & his wife came with a proposal of marriage . Asking Rashi's hand for their son Kabir .

Kabir is  a handsome , permanent employee of some MNC . And the only son of his parents . Known in the family relatives for his reserve , respected appreciable nature . No point in rejecting , him .
