Rashi's pov :
I came back home , after teaching in college .
Today I got a bit late , I use to come around 4:00 , today it's 7:00 .
Kabir must be home by now , have to help Mom in kitchen too . Please God I hope she will not scold me , as I had not informed anyone about getting late and my idiotic phone's battery had also gone .
As I entered the main gate , my eyes landed on Kabir , wait ......... ......... ANGRY Kabir .
His facial expressions depicting his frustrated state , disheveled hairs , may because of him running his fingers through them , clenched jaw , fisted palm , arched eyes , loosened tie , sleeves folded till elbow .
' What's wrong with him ' ?
' I had never seen him like this before '
He was looking at a lady , sitting on sofa , wiping her tears . My mother in law sitting beside her , rubbing her back , in order to sooth her .
He averted his gaze on me and
" I knew it , I knew it from day 1 ,
that YOU can never be of anybody "
" Because You don't know what relationships are "
" You are a hell selfish , coward , idiot ,
who doesn't care for anyone "
" My mom , dad took every care of you
like their own child but YOU "
" You are just a player , cheating everyone of us "
He said all this coming towards me , with greeted teeth, forcing every word trying to speak in a low voice , pointing first finger on me , hate in his eyes .
' What's wrong with him ' ?
' What have I done ' ?
' Why is he behaving like this ' ?
' He had always been a sweet , caring husband ,
an approximate gentleman '
My heart clenched at his every word , tears formed in my eyes , but I don't want to cry in front of everyone , showing myself as a weak woman , specially when I had done nothing , in addition to that I don't even know what's going on here.
Just my late arrival can never be an issue of all this outburst .
