Chapter Nine - Save It For The Bedroom.

It was strange to wake up that morning in yet another guys bed alone, Staggering up I could hear quiet talking from downstairs, I turned the corridor carefully descending the stairs to the sound of the voices, I ended up stood in the door way to the kitchen seeing josh in animated conversation with a pretty brunette, Who I assumed was his sister I stood awkwardly at the door way clutching my arms to my chest, Josh's eyes locked on mine whilst his sister got up and grabbed her coat she walked towards me smiling, 

"Hey Ella I'm Elissa its nice to meet the girl josh hasn't shut up about" josh hasn't shut up about me, Wow he must like me well I hope so that's what I needed right now stability and no more rejection, I struggled to keep my expression warm and happy when Matt popped into my head I dread having to get my things from his house. 

"Its nice to meet you Elissa I've heard some of your music and I love your voice" a big smile spread across her face and she pulled me into a tight hug, 

"Out of josh's girlfriend's your the nicest/prettiest and i just met you" oh she thought I was josh's gf am I josh's girlfriend out of the corner of my eye I saw josh giving his sister a SHUT THE FUCK UP look she just chuckled to herslef and made her way to the door, 

"Ill be late for work bye guys see you soon Ella" the next thing I know josh is on me lifting me off the ground and propping me up onto the counter before going for a long deep kiss, 

"morning" I chuckled into his mouth he started to shift on his feet nervously..

"I didn't say anything to Lissa about us going out I mean I don't know if that's what you want or if were just friends or" I placed a quick kiss on his mouth to silence him, Did I want to be his gf I know being with josh means I wont be hurt again josh wont hurt me josh is good for me, So why cant I stop thinking about Matt, Then out of a split second decision I blurted it out, 

"I want to be your gf if you want me to I mean if you don't its fine" I looked straight into josh's eyes and he exhaled in releif, His arms wrapping around me and grabbing my hand before dragging me towards the stairs,

"How about you go get ready then ill take my girlfriend out for breakfast then we will go pick up your stuff from barnsey's house and you can stay with me your boyfriend" I had to laugh at the way he managed to get our relationship in there twice, Then the back end of his sentence hit me Matt's we had to go to Matt's, I cant refuse or josh will know last night something happened, I'm just going to have to suck it up and not make eye contact, Hopefully I will look at him and feel nothing maby ill feel more for josh, I ran upstairs then I grabbed a quick shower without washing my hair ill do it later when i have my straightener's, Jumping out of the shower I grab a towel and dry myself before reaching for last nights clothing, eww but I can change when we get back from Matt's house, Every time I even think of his name I wince in displeasure, I picked through josh's dresser finding a hair brush and combing through my hair I would have to do, I skipped downstairs noticing josh was out in the garden, I put on my converse and went outside to join him, 

"Damn its cold you ready to go ?" josh snapped out of the thing he was looking at and took off his jacket handing it to me aww hes so sweet, He wrapped his arm around my waist then he locked up the house, And lead me to his car starting up the car he looked at me with a serious expression, 

" Where to for breakfast" his question shocked me, Why is it that boy could only take food this seriously,

"Seen as I want to change out of this underwear sharpish I'm thinking a quick drive through" now I thought about it I did feel gross showering then putting on yesterdays underwear, Josh smiled at me, 

"McDonald's it is" we pulled up to McDonald's and decided to go inside, I got a coffee and a eggmcmuffin it tasted like an old welly sharing this sentiment with josh made him laugh hard, We chatted for a few more minutes before Josh grabbed my hands, 

" We have to have the talk Ella come on.. favorite band !!" i pondered this a little while before making up my mind 

"it has to be Jimmy Eat Word or Kings Of Leon or Arctic Monkeys" josh gave me a stunned look had I answered wrong 

"where have you been the last 20 years of my life" I started to laugh 

"in my room listening to jimmy eat world where were you !!" before I knew it his lips were on mine giving me a deep kiss, Getting us a lot of throat clearing from some of the chavs around us, Me and Josh just continued to laugh, Him making Jeremy kyle show comments god he's funny, Id put off finishing my coffee for about an hour now not wanting to go to Matt's, I figured what the hell come on put it behind you your with josh now hes nothing to you anymore, Just josh's friend I'm sure he was a little drunk last night, That's why those things came out I bet hes sat at home right now feeling bad, Well I hoped when we finally reached Matt's house Josh opend my car door for me and took my hand, josh fumbled for the car key locking it as we walked to the house,

"Ready to get your stuff and come live with me for a while" I looked up into josh's perfect eyes and knew the anser was yes, 

"100% ready" josh knocked on the door and noticed it was open, then we walked in him leading me down the corridor, 

"Barnesy here to pick up Ella's stuff" no reply came josh checked downstairs and he wasn't here, Panic starting to from in my mind is he okay? Why would the door be unlocked if hes not awake why didn't he reply? My hand dropping Josh's I sprinted up into Matt's bedroom calling his name, I flung open his bedroom door to see him half naked covered by the quilt on top of some slut from the party last night, He was telling the truth he did just want a fuck and this girl more than obliged, She thew her head back in the fakest moan ever before I made the door bang again notifying them of my presence, Matt quickly jumped off her pulling the quilt with him to cover his self his topless body was amazing, Wait Ella head in the game i stiffled a small smile and brought it back to a discusted i just walked in on my grandparents face, I felt Josh behind me his hot breath on my neck then that little slut spoke, 

"who the fuck are you ?" who the fuck am I then I flashed back to last night Matt telling me I meant nothing to him, I looked him right in the eyes marched to my open suit case grabbing what I could see, And shoving it inside recklessly I zipped it up and dragged it to Josh turning around on my heel and giving Matt another chilling look, 

" I am nobody I mean nothing to him" Josh grabbed my bag and gave Matt a wierd we will talk later look, before following me downstairs to the car, 

"what was that all about the you mean nothing to him part" too angry to even make conversation I rambled between breaths at josh as he loaded my suitcase in the car, 

"just who the fuck was she to give me shit she was the slut naked on her back fucking some guy shes just fucking met and shes asking me who I am" Josh gave me a pokerface and put his arms on my shoulder me turning to him in the car, 

"calm down Ella shes nobody you'll never see her again" thank god Josh thought my problem was with her if only he knew about the me and Matt situation, that's when I Finaly made the decision in my mind that Matt Barnes was nobody he wasn't even a blimp on my radar, Taking a leaf from alcide hervouz book (trueblood) I abjure him he no longer exists, I know hes in the band but I can ignore him, I've gone my whole life being ignored I know how its done, coming to this conclusion gave me a strange sense of self awareness, I looked up at josh with a devious smile, 

"I know josh I'm fine just shocked me that's all never walked in on anybody before haha" I lent over to kiss Josh's cheek before he drove off home, But yet I felt like something is missing oh well that's enough soul searching for one day.
