Chapter Twenty Four - Nasty Habbits - Part One

Max's Pov.

"I AM NOT A FUCKING DOG JOSH DOSENT OWN ME THERE'S NOTHING BETWEEN ME AND MATT BECAUSE FRANKLY IM NOT A USING SLUT LIKE YOU LILLY AND FROM THE LOOK ON YOUR FACE MAX I CAN TELL YOUR THINKING THE EXACT SAME THING" Ella stormed straight out of the restaurant everybody's eyes in the group followed her, Josh stood with his mouth open catching flys, Ella wasn't the kind of girl who just went off on one she really had to be provoked, And this time Lilly had done just that, I guess shes just lucky Ella didn't blacken the other eye, I started to really think what Ella had said and she was right, I don't love this girl, Not anymore, She's not my Lilly, Ever since she jumped into bed with Dan I have no idea who she is.

"Are you just gonna fucking stand there or are we gonna go after her" Josh growled at us grabbing Chewy's arm and pulling him to the door, Lilly gave shot him a gut wrenching look, walking over to the table and sitting down in a cocky little move.

"No we would rather hang out here and watch paint dry Isn't that right max?" Her eyes shot directly to mine, Giving me the same look she always gives me when I'm not buying her something, A look of total and utter control, A look that you would give a disobedient dog, I said nothing instead I turned to Josh and the lads, Dan and Beth stood beside them all poised to go look for Ella, All there eyes looking at Lilly with a burning hatred, I didn't fully notice until now how many of the guys actually hated her, Even Matt her best friend, What had she become?

"It's probably best you don't come anyway seen as YOU caused this I don't know what happened to you Lilly but just a lately you've been a real Bitchy Whore you know that? Max you coming" Josh's voice dripped absolute venom, Everybody in the restaurant turning to look towards the back room, Josh wasn't asking me if I was going to look for Ella, Josh was asking me who I chose, you know Three months ago it would have been Lilly every-time now I don't even know.

"Yeah I am give me a minute tho" I looked towards an impatient Josh he nodded and then bolted out of the restaurant the guys following him, This moment I dreaded turning towards Lilly she sat there in abject shock her face a mask of no emotion, The two remaining people in the room Oli and the Suit got up to go to the bar, Leaving me and Lilly staring into each others face.

"So what you chose her is that what this is?" Lilly spoke clear and hard, But towards the end of her sentence her facade started to crack, Her hand went to nervously twist her hair, Her bottom lip stuck out, She mumbled, This was my Lilly the Lilly I love more than anything in the world, My hands automatically reached out for her like I was welcoming her back, But then the tiny crack that shone through patched back up, She shot off the chair onto her feet and looked me square In the eye.

"I want to make sure she's okay" She scoffed, Her hand moved up to motion towards her bruised face.

"Look at what she did and said to me Max she deserves everything she gets" She snorted towards the end of her sentence in an obnoxious manner, Clearly pissed off now.

"On both occasions you started it and you deserved everything she did to you" Lilly's whole body recoiled like my words were a slap to the face, Her hand came upwards connecting with my face, Slapping me square across the jaw, It stung like a bitch that was the final straw.

"I can't take this anymore Lilly you've changed your not the girl I love but I know she's in there" She tried to fight the tears that were streaming down her face, The old Lilly staring to crack through again, This is my chance.

"I love you Lilly since the first day I met you but this girl right here this girl isn't you I just hope to god she's still in there" The tears coming down her face full force now, You could tell she was clearly speechless, I leant over and placed a single kiss on her wet cheek, turning around and heading for the door, Never looking back, I managed to get just outside of the restaurant doors nobody was coming after me, I need time to think I love her I will always love her but if she can't find the girl that I love inside her, can this really carry on, My ringtone of a quacking duck blasted out from my pocket and I Answered my phone.

"Hello Josh what's up did you find her"

"Nope I've looked everywhere were are you" I instinctively looked up at the street sign realising I've walked about ten minutes away from the restaurant, time flys when your in deep thought.

"about ten minutes away from the restaurant in the direction of the villas"

"Do me a favour check all the local hotels and hostels that she could get a room in with about 100 dollars cash to see if they have seen her then when your done wait at the villa see if she comes back there" Nodding to myself I'm glad Josh gave me this Job something to keep my mind of Lilly.

"Im on it I'll call you if I find her"

"Thanks Maxy I know I can count on you" With that the Line went dead, I could tell with the way he used a half hearted Maxy, My help lifted a weight from his shoulders, Well I guess it's time to Check some places out, Look for Ella, Hope that Lilly sees sense.

---------2 Hours Later---------

The last two hours have been a bore, Ella wasn't at a single one of the hotels I checked but some pretty sketchy characters were, I've never been mistaken for a rent boy/druggy this many time in my life, Ah well only in la, I called Josh about five minutes ago to inform him, He hasn't seen her ither, I'm worried I hope she's okay, my footing picks up on the pavement as I see the villas in the distance practically running towards them hoping Ella will be inside, Pulling out the keys I thank god the record company man gave us each a key for both houses, The door for Josh And Ella's villa was locked, Not a good sign, I opened the door running into the house and started to shout her name.

"ELLA ELLA YOU HERE" I sat back and Waited no reply, Sighing I run upstairs checking the bedrooms, No sign of her here, Wait maybe she's in our villa trying to hide out she does have a key, running out the front door again I fumble to lock it and make my way across the other bridge, Checking the door I noticed this one was open, For some reason I decided not to scream her Name, I can hear a faint noise upstairs like a bang a scrape on the wooden floor, My fight or flight instincts kicking in I slowly make my way upstairs being extra careful to make sure the steps don't creak, when upstairs I check the first bedroom, Nope nobody in here, Then I check the next bedroom same again empty, The noise getting louder now, kind of sounds like wood scraping on wood, Gathering myself together I push open the door of the bedroom me and Lilly share, completely shocked at the sight before me how could she, Now I know what the creaking was, something in my mind snapped it no longer mattered who she used to be or who she was now, she's nothing to me, I dont love her, I hate her, I push the bedroom door open further alerting her to my presence making sure her eyes are on me, I give her a look that says more than anything I've ever said to her before, It shows my absolute hatred for her she's nothing to me anymore, Nothing, Turning on my heel I slowly walk from the bedroom, Engorging the sounds of clothing being thrown on in a rush Her shrill distraught voice called after me.

"MmMax I'm sorry don't go I love you he means nothing to me it's always been you" Her breathing became laboured I could tell she was starting to cry, I didn't care I feel no sympathy.

"I want you out in one hour out forever don't call me don't text me don't tweet me don't come to my house don't bother my friends stay away from me Lilly Were done" I walked quicker now blocking the sounds of her plea's from my ears, Then I started to run, Out of the villa, Down the road, Towards the beach, I just kept running, The one woman I loved more than anyone in the world broke my heart again, Made me feel worthless, I no longer feel anything for her, were done.
