CHAPTER 30 - FINALLY

Sobrang lakas ng tibok ng puso niya habang nakatingin sa nakasarang pinto ng kanyang opisina.

Its been 5 in the evening and yet, Jamae is no where to be found.

Where are you Darling?

"Boss? The balloons are there,
Should I bring here now?"

Malakas siyang napabuntong hininga sa sinabing iyon ng assistant niyang si Jick.
Tsk!
Its been 7 hours since he delivered the flowers to Jamae's office.
Pero hanggang ngayon hindi pa rin ito dumarating.
Kaya naman nagsisimula na siyang kabahan.
He doesn't want to text her.
He wants her to discover his surprise.
Sayang naman ang naisip niyang gimmick kung hindi nito mismo madidiscover iyon.
Pero ngayon parang nagsisisi na siya.
He badly wants to text her now!
And tell her to read each message he puts in all flowers that he delivered at her office especially, the big bouquet of white roses.

Damn! He didn't sleep for that!

"Boss, ok lang kayo?"

He breath out and look at Jick helplessly.
"Tell me she will come."

"Eh boss, sinabi mo bang pumunta sa rito?"

"Yeah. I sent her a message..." but what if she didn't know about the message?
Damn! Should I text her now?

His phone beep and he lazy look at it.

"Im on my way Darling."

Agad siyang napatayo at tinulak si Jick palabas ng opisina niya.

"wait boss--"

"Stop talking and get the balloons pronto!"

"Bakit sir?"

"Jamae is on her way. Darn! I never felt so nervous like this before!"
He said but Jick just chuckled and tap his shuolder.

"Good luck boss. Sige po kukunin ko na yung mga balloons sa lobby."

Timang na tumango tango siya saka agad bumalik sa loob ng opisina niya.

Damn! How to calm down?!
Arggh. I hate this!

He breath a loud and jog aroud his table.

After a seconds, he stopped and look around.

Nothing has special to his office.
He didn't decorate it or do something to beautify it.

Why?

Cause he wants to be unique.
And he wants to reminisce the past just like what he taught to Jamae.

He breath out and pick up his ringing phone.
"Jick.. prepare the lobby."

"Huh? Bakit sa lobby sir? Di ba sa office nyo?"

He smirk
"I change my mind.
Make it fast and please, tell the maintenance to set up the grand piano at the lobby."

Saglit itong nawala.
"Oh.. parang alam ko na yan boss ah.
Ginawa na yan dati e. Wala ka bang originality boss?"

Nanliit ang mata niya sa sinabi nito.
"Do you love your Job Jick.?"

"Of course doc!"

"Then do what I've said you to do."

"On it boss."
