~More Then Friends~ Benji X Jorge

Jorge got to school late on Thursday and had to get a tardy note from the office. There was a lot of traffic since there was a wreck. A few buses hadn't even gotten to the school yet either. In 1st period, Benji was already there, but half the class wasn't.

"While were waiting for the rest of the class to get here you can just talk or do whatever." Mr. Silas said to Jorge. Him and Benji had started to talk and were actually becoming friends. He was a lot cooler than what Jorge used to think. He actually used to find him kinda annoying. They texted a bit yesterday and had to work on their project again after school.

"Hey Benji." Jorge said.

"Oh hey. How are you?" Benji's faced turned a light shade of pink. Jorge found that Benji was actually a lot shyer than he would've thought. It seemed like anytime any one would talk to him he would blush.

"I'm good. So did you finish the rest of your research?"

"Yea. I did."

"Good. So we only have to stick everything on the poster."

"Yepp." Benji said. The rest of the class slowly got there and class started.

At the end of the day, they worked together on the poster. They cut out their typed research and glued it onto the poster.

"Hey I had an idea about how to spice up our poster." Jorge said while reaching into his backpack. He pulled out 2 tubes of glitter glue. "Glitter!" Benji laughed and grabbed a tube.

"You're a genius." Benji said. They put the glitter glue around the edges of the papers. Once they were finished they took a step back and admired their artwork.

"It's beautiful." Jorge said.

"A real masterpiece." Benji said. They looked at each other and laughed until they started to cry. "Jeez man, I mean we still have 30 minutes till the school closes. Should we call our parents or wait 30 minutes?"

"Oh yea could you take me home? I forgot to ask earlier." Jorge asked

"Yea or course. Also i'm gonna call my mom to pick us up now. Is that okay?"

"Yea sure." Jorge said. They waited 10 minutes till Benji's mom came. Jorge's house was only about 3 minutes away. "Okay yeaaa, it's the one here." He said as Benji's mom pulled into his driveway. Jorge got out with the project, said bye, and closed the door.

Well I guess I know where Jorge lives now. Benji thought. That's kinda creepy though. They pulled out of the driveway and went home.

Benji was so frustrated with Jorge. He couldn't tell if Jorge knew Benji liked him. Maybe he's just really dumb. Benji thought. And then he got a great idea. I should write him a love letter... It's cheesy but What else am I supposed to do? Tell him directly that I like him? That's stupid. Benji got out a piece of lined notebook paper. What do I write though? I can't put my name. Do I write a poem? I don't know how to write a poem though. Oh! Benji remembered that one movie where a character wrote a love letter. What was it again? Oh yea IT.

Benji looked up the poem from that movie and just copied it down. Perfect. But where should I put it? I could mail it to him but I feel like that's just too creepy. I could just sneak it in his back pack. Benji folded it up and wrote "from: your secret admirer" On the front.

When they got to school Benji had a master plan as how to sneak it into Jorge's backpack.

"Hey Jorge," Benji said. "Could you get me a cap eraser?"

"Oh yea sure." Jorge said as he went up to the container they were in. Benji pulled the letter out of his pocket and put in in Jorge's backpack facing up.
