I wake as if it was an emergency, as if sleeping had become a dangerous thing. I spun around on my broom as if it were bewitched. My heart beats fast and there is a buzzing in my brain and together they are as panic with jump-leads. Only now my brain is as a flat battery, the extortions of the night being a marathon of static problem-solving and so this day will pass as if I am hungover, but from not drinking but from the nightmares that demand a solution. I gained in control of my broom and went back on track. I was almost there, I was ready to see my little kitten. I arrived in the what the Muggles call the 'suburbs'. There was a bunch of little houses, all the same, bunched together. It triggered me. I got butterflies in my stomach just thinking about Alice. Would she be exited to see me again? Would she be embarrassed? "I hope not..." I said under my breath. "This is it... 272 Waltsner pvt..." I said nervously. This is really odd behaviour for me. All of a sudden I'm nervous and questioning my decisions "since when does Draco Malfoy do that?!" I said taking a deep breath. I flew in and landed on top of a dark red beaten up roof so those pathetic Muggles don't see me. I jumped off the roof and landed on the front porch of Alice's house. It was very... muggle-like. Before I knocked on the door, I remember all the good memories we had with each other. I remembered last year, we used to skip defence against the dark arts classes on Thursdays and instead we'd used to go out to Hagrid's hut, run through the fields, and pick wild berries. We'd used to get in so much trouble For that. The good times we'd have together... I chuckled thinking of those memories. I knocked on the door... no answer. I knocked again... no answer. I rang the doorbell a few times... no answer. So I jut let myself in. I opened the old small wooden door and walked inside. The house was Weird... the shape, the decors, the smell, just everything. I hated the red leather couches and those gross green stitched up curtains, the little dining table, and the little beaten down kitchen, it looked like a beaten up dollhouse. It was a bit messy inside but I didn't mind one bit. My main focus was to find Alice. I heard chattering upstairs, at first it sounded harmless but once I made my way up a few stairs I could hear everything... it sounded intense. "please NO! Don't hurt my baby girl!" A man's voice yelled. "She has something I want..." a woman's voice said darkly. The woman sounded around 16, possibly a witch it seems like. " I don't have anything! Leave me alone!" I recognized that soft gentle voice... Alice! "Alice?" I called out. The chattering went silent. He made his way up a few more stairs then listened to the chattering again. "I'll kill you... I'll kill you..." the woman's voice said again. "Please don't! Please!" Alice said stuttering her every word. I made my way up all the stairs then peaked his head through every room to find the group of people. "Avada Kedavra!" The woman's voice screeched. My face froze in terror. I heard a big thump coming from the room behind me. "HOW COULD YOU DO THIS TO MY FATHER!" Alice screamed as she was trying to keep in her tears. "You monster..." she said under her breath because she was too weak to speak up. The woman chuckled at the sorrow of Alice. I was in shock of what I've just heard. Did that woman kill Alice's father, the only one left in her life? "Give. It. To. Me. Now!" The woman threatened. "Or you'll end up just like your father!" She continued. I could hear the quiet sobs of Alice. I had to help her. I slammed open the door just the slightest so they wouldn't notice me. Alice was flat against the wall, a waterfall of tears streaming down her now frozen pale face. The woman was holding a wand right at her throat threatening to kill her. I was right the woman was around 16 years. She had Y/E/C, Y/H/C Y/H/T (your hair type), and Y/S/C. She was tall and lanky, a bit concerning. I slammed the door open wide with an angry look on my face. "Leave her alone you filthy mudblood!" I said as i walked towards the teen with my wand pointed straight at her. She glanced at me pretending to be scared "Draco... go away!" Alice whispered. "I'm not leaving you Alice... I-" "awww, you what?" the teen said mocking Me while making a pouty face. "I can handle this on my own! Go away!" Alice snapped. "You're gonna get yourself killed... and I can't live knowing it was my fault." Alice said as her eyes started to tear up. "It won't be your fault, Alice. I'm choosing to do this." I said as I walked up to her, stared into her hazel eyes and whipped her tears from under her puffy eyes. I turned back to the teen. "Who are you anyways?" I said with anger.
"The names Evanora" she said. "Evanora Loachapoka" she continued. Draco chuckled at the witch's name. "Find that funny do you?" Evanora said firmly. "Bet you won't find this funny!" She exclaimed as she pointed her wand back at Alices throat. "Avada Kedavra!" She snapped. There was a flash of blinding green light and a rushing sound, as through a vast, invisible something was soaring through the air. Alice roller onto her back, unmistakably dead. My eyes shifted to the side again and became glazed with a glassy layer of tears as I blinked they dropped from my eyelids and slid down to my Rosie cheeks. I bit my lip tightly in attempt to hide any sound that wanted to escape from me. my cold unloving heart sank. The anger I was feeling inside was dangerous. "The dark lord will be pleased... now that I have what I came for..." Evanora said quietly under her breath as she disappeared into thin air. Young Draco was all alone now... he has nobody. The blonde was never going to love again.
