My body tensed as my eyes slowly travel up the figure's body in front of me. It was him again. He stood hunched over holding some cotton bags filled with groceries with that same cocky smile still painted on his dumb face. I had nothing to say to him as I looked back down at my book closing it before getting up from my seat.
"Hey wait a minute!" He yelled as I continued down the sidewalk. Within mere minutes I could hear footsteps beside me.
"Is that any way to thank me for what happened?" He said softly leaned over close to my face as he continued his stride beside mine. I wasn't sure where I was going but I really wasn't in the mood to talk to this guy right now. I was just trying to enjoy a relaxing day off. Before I could quicken my pace the boy grabbed for my wrist stopping me in my tracks.
"Fucking stop already" he yelled which startled me for a minute. I whip my head around at him so fast I could feel my hair lash against the fall breeze. I wanted to scream, but I knew that wouldn't do anything.
"Thank you alright!" I say, but he still held onto my wrist. He smiles from my statement as his grip loosens only slightly. I look down at his large hand wrapped around my wrist before looking back up at his dark eyes.
"Is that all you wanted?" I say sternly looking at his unchanged expression. The stranger remained silent as his eyes flickered a bit upon meeting mine. What was up with this guy, why couldn't he just leave me alone?
"Actually no, that isn't all.." his smile deepens into his cheeks and I instinctually cock my head. I hadn't made any effort to pull away, maybe because deep down I wanted to know more. The silence after his statement made me avert my eyes away before he cleared his throat.
"To be honest, you've piqued my interest" he hummed watching my expression change.
I watched as his jaw tightened a bit from his smirk as he straightened his back still looking down at me. I felt my hands begin to sweat from his stare alone waiting for his next move.
"I think we make a great team, you and I" I jolt back as his hand still holds my wrist.
"Wait- what?"
"You don't think so?" he smiled "You're a top pro and well I'm not that far behind you... plus I think there is some chemistry between us" his eyes wander up and down my frame which grossed me out.
"I'll pass" my tone came off harsher than I expected, but I couldn't exactly help that. Yeah he was good looking .. but he was also a cocky boy who had some serious self-control problems. Something I personally knew was not my type. I'd met guys like him many times and they were not the fondest of memories.
He laughed out loud as he pulled my wrist causing me to move close to him. The smell of him wafted up from the movement filling my lungs with the deep smell of sandalwood. I couldn't pull away. I felt like I was caught in his web tangled up in his eyes as I felt a warmth grow over my face.
"Well it looks like you do agree with me" he cooed smiling down at me. I never really felt this way towards anyone so I wasn't exactly sure if it was that or the fact that I was so close to this strangers face. Shaking my head I push away from him as his hold on me lifted. He stood before me still staring as I held my book close to my chest.
"I don't even know your name, so what makes you think that I would-"
"Its Bakugou, Katsuki Bakugou" he hummed throwing his groceries over his shoulder. I couldn't help my eyes from wandering down as his shirt every so slightly lifted from the movement of his arm. He scoffed causing me to look back up at him.
"and your name is?" he said in a cocky tone.
"Misaki Haruka" my voice was serious and short as he smiled standing before me.
