I was still clutching onto Kirishima's arm as the temperature left my body. I stared straight at the door wondering what I was going to do next."Misaki, what's the big deal anyways?" Kirishima said as I let go of his arm. A blush covering my face from embarrassment as he smiled at me.
"Just, I..."
"He already told me about the argument you all had...I don't think Denki really knows as much as me, but I know Bakugou felt bad about it all.."
I stare at him as I felt myself back away towards the side door out to the backyard. Maybe if I wasn't so buzzed I could have made a run for it and quickly made it home before I ever had to even face him. But unfortunately the liquor was really hitting me. My whole body tingled with each step I took. I was in no condition to see Bakugou right now. I could hardly keep myself standing still so there was no way I would be able to properly apologize or even stand up to Bakugou.
"I-I think I need to go" I say feeling my hands shake. Kirishima took a few steps towards me as I shook my hands at him.
"Misaki please, Bakugou means well.. he just doesn't express himself in the best ways" Kirishima's shoulders lowered as he continued to step towards me.
This guy couldn't be more right. Even though he was being so nice I just had to go, he may think he knows our relationship or whatever this is, but he has no idea.
"Please" I say sternly causing Kirishima to stop in his tracks, "Just tell Bakgou I left"
Kirishima stood there and gave me a look like he understood but felt bad for his friend. He was in a tough spot. I take in a deep breath and try to collect myself before figuring out my next plan as my heart beat continued to pound in my chest. I was interrupted by the loud crash of the door swinging open and hitting the wall behind it as my head whipped around.
There stood Bakugou and Denki. My heart sank seeing Bakugou's face. His expression was a mix of anger and concern like a parent about to ground their child causing me to back up to the wall. My body felt like a wet noodle as I tried to hold onto something to keep from wobbling. He shot Kirishima a look as he held his hands up in the air in a defensive manner.
"What the fuck is going on!?" Bakugou yelled as Kirishima stepped up closer to him. Denki jumped from the volume as he looked over at Kirishima for help.
"Dude we just met Misaki is all and thought to get you.." Kirishima said giving Bakugou a confused look.
"Why don't you join Dunce Face and beat it Kirishima" Denki was already scooting back through the door awkwardly as my eyes tried to focus on what was happening. Everything was moving too fast for me to understand.
"Bakugou, she just had a little too much to drink.. don't fucking be an asshole" Kirishima said holding onto Bakugou's shoulder as he quickly brushed him off.
"You don't think I already know that? I'll take care of her. Who was she here with?"
"I came with Shoto and his friends" I said softly already knowing Bakugou's reaction to this without looking. I look up to see my predictions were correct as Bakugou's eyes shoot back over to me. At first they looked angry, but they softened up and looked sad as they met mine.
"Tell them I'm taking her home" Bakugou mumbled as Kirishima nodded his head before rushing out through the door.
Now all that was left was Bakugou and I. My heartbeat was so loud I could feel it in my ears as I watched Bakugou step closer to me. Leaning over to meet my eye level giving me a stern expression as his eyes examined mine. I didn't know what to say. It felt like my mouth was dried up as I tried to open it to say something, but words wouldn't come out.
