Sameer just kept on watching The door, waiting for the doctor to come out of the ward, telling them that his Naina was okay.

He couldn't help but think back to what had happened 3 years back when his nanu was in the ICU. If anything happened to her, he wouldn’t be able to live then.

Soon the doctor came out and Sameer almost jumped up and went to him immediately with the others behind him.

“Doctor. Na-Naina kaisi hain? Voh theek toh hain na?” Sameer asked.

“Jee aap sab pareshaan mat hoiye. Everything is under control. Shukr hain chot itni gehri nai thi. Abhi voh dawaayion ke vajah se behosh hain. Kabhi bhi hosh aayenga unko. Now excuse me please.” The doctor said and Sameer felt as if something huge was lifted off his chest.

“Main andar jaaraha hoon.” Sameer said as the others nodded. They too wanted Sameer to stay with Naina and hence decided on going in when she would regain consciousness.

He went in and took slow strides towards her bed. He took her small hand in his and brought it to his face as he left a lingering kiss there and cried.

“Naina, please utho. Mujhe tumse baat karni hain. Mujhe tumhari awaaz sunni hain. Please mere liye utho.” He said as he left another kiss on her hand.

He kept on sitting in that position till Naina woke up.

“Sa-Sameer.” She lightly said as she moved her fingers a little.

Sameer, who had fallen asleep in that position didn’t hear her the first time.
Naina then opened her eyes and saw Sameer sleeping on the chair with his head next to her. She then moved her fingers till they reached his hair and started brushing her fingers through his hair. Sameer felt her fingers digging in his hair and woke up in an instant, met with Naina’s smiling face looking at him.

She did look quite tired, but she still managed to look the most beautiful girl for him.

“Naina! Tum Theek ho na? Main doctor ko bulaata hoon.” He said and was about to stand up bit she held his arm.

“Main bilkul theek hoon Sameer.” She said and he sat down.

“I’m sorry. Maine tumhe pareshaan kiya  na.” Naina said as Sameer shook his head and cupped her cheek.

“Tumne mujhe bilkul bhi pareshaan nai kiya. Main bas khush hoon ki tum theek ho.” He said as she smiled.

“Lekin Sameer, mujhe ghar jaana hain. Mujhe hospitals bilkul nai pasand.” She said in order to lighten the atmosphere a bit making Sameer chuckle.

“Main abhi sabko bula raha hoon. Sab kitne pareshaan the.” He said as he went out the room to inform them that she’s okay.

“Behen! Tune sachme dara diya!” Preeti said loudly as she wacked her a little on the arm and engulfed her in a hug.

“Pagal. Dekhe nai chal sakti?” She said.

“Bhabi yaar, tum bhi na. Agar humare baare mein nai, kam se kam Sameer ke baare mein sochti. Bechare ki dunya hi tham si gayi thi.” Pandit said.

Naina soon saw Swati there and she was happy with the fact that no matter how angry Swati was with her, she still came to see her.

“Swa-"

“Naina.” Swati said.

“Tu tu kaisi hain ab?” Swati asked trying to control her tears.

“Main abhi theek hoon.” Naina replied.
