Chapter 1: Caught?

“I love you Sameer.” Naina said as she rested her head on Sameer’s chest as Sameer smiled holding her tightly.

“I love you too Naina. I’m sorry,  Maine thoda overreact kiya hain na?”

“Nahi Sameer. Tumhara haq hain mujhpar ghussa hona. Waise mere personal Mr. Prem,  aap shayad bhool rahe ho. Dosti ka usool hain, dosti mein no sorry, no thank you.” Naina said as she looked up at him with a smile playing on her face and Sameer too looked at her as he remembered back to their school days when she first said that to him.

Karthik was passing by and saw that the activity room door was closed and peeked through the window and was shocked on seeing Naina and Sameer in an embrace.

“Accha, toh yeh sab chal raha hain. Sameer, tune Sunaina ka dil dukhaya tha, aaj uska hisaab honga.” He said to himself and walked to the principle’s office.

He barged in without knocking and this made the principle quite angry as she and JBR were discussing about the new auditorium that was to be made.

“Karthik! Tumme Manners nai hain kya? Aise andar kaun ghus ke aata hain. Yaad rakhna, tumhare Dadaji iss college ke trustee hain,  tum nai. Toh tum baaki sab students ke tarah knock karke aana. Do you understand?” she lectured and Karthik patiently or not so patiently waited for her to finish off her lecture.

“Arrey Ma’am, aap yeh sab chodiye aur chalo. Activity room mein kuch chal raha hain. Maine ek ladke ko dekha ek ladki ko gale lagate hue.” He said as the principle got shocked hearing it along with JBR.

“Kya?! Yeh tum kya keh rahe ho? Kaun hain woh ?” she asked absolutely angry at this indiscipline going on in her college.

“Mujhe nai pata. Uss ladke ka mooh dikhae nai diya. Aao jaldi chalo na.” he said as the principle and JBR rushed to the activity room and he followed them as he smirked.

Meanwhile, Sameer and Naina broke apart and heard footsteps heading to the activity room as the principal’s heels made a sound as she was walking in a hurry.

They quickly broke apart completely and Sameer took the guitar and strummed the strings and Naina kept on looking at him so if anyone happened to come in, they would think that he’s teaching Naina how to play the guitar.

Soon the door opened and they saw the principle there with JBR and a smirking Karthik. But soon Karthik’s smirk got replaced with a look of shock as he expected them to be locked in an embrace.

“Tum dono yaha kya kar rahe ho?” Ma’am asked as SamAina passed a knowing look to each other and had understood Karthik’s intentions.

‘Ma’am main Naina ko guitar bajaana sikha raha hoon.” Sameer said as she and JBR still didn’t look convinced.

“accha? Agar yeh baat thi, toh darwaza band kyu hain?” JBR asked.

“JBR, Hawa se band hogaya honga. Aur kya?” Naina said.

“Karthik, tum toh keh rahe the ke yaha kuch aur horaha tha.” Ma’am asked Karthik and he knew that he’s close on getting into trouble.

“M-maine kaha jo maine dekha Ma’am.” Karthik said.

“Ma’am,  Aap seriously iski baaton mein aaye? Yaad nai hain ke kaise usne hume ek room mein lock kiya tha.” Sameer said and ma’am and JBR looked at Karthik believing SamAina.
