In all My Life...

While I was able to get out of Literature just fine, I was soon swept away by the crowd of students that took up the entire hallway. The worst part about it though was the fact that I had no idea if the way I was going was correct. The art room was located in room 200 and-- I'M ONLY IN THE 100S!?!? I NEED TO GET  A MOVE ON. Man, I thought P.E would be the only physical exercise I would have today!

Eventually, due to some dumb luck that came out of nowhere the course of the sea of students washed me up a floor with the 200 rooms. I still can't believe I haven't gotten the fact the rooms were actually on a simple floor plan. Rooms 100 on the first floor, 200s on the second, and 300s on the third. And here I thought I got here on a scholarship...

Anyways!

Diminishing all the negative thoughts from my mind, I barely managed to squeeze through the art room door just as the bell rung. Phew.

"You must be our scholarship student, yes?" I looked up to find a woman that stood a good couple inches taller than me. She had dark hair that held a purple tint to it and grey emotionless eyes. Kinda weird, since she's the art teacher. I would have thought for sure that Ms. Hanna was more like an art teacher than who I'm assuming is Mrs. Fumi in front of me.

"Yes, I'm (Y/N)--"

"Great, so just take a seat at any of the tables so I can start our lesson," As if I didn't have to answer at all, Mrs. Fumi looked back down at a clipboard she held in her hands, "Go on, take any seat. We have many options," That was a lie. There was only one spot next to Koki open to take. Instead of just trying to comprehend that as a sarcastic joke or jeer, I just make my way to the circle tables near the back of the class, leaving Mrs. Fumi by herself at the front.

"Did you save a seat for me?" I whispered as I waved to Koki and sat down.

"Well...I didn't want a weirdo sitting next to me...I guess my wish was worthless," He tried his best not to smile but the corner of his lips curved up anyways.

"Hey, not nice," I stuck my tongue out making sure no one could see me in the act. There was another person at our table, to be fair. We can't annoy him that badly on the first day. That's for the second day. Second days are always the worst.

"Alright, now that everyone has arrived I will begin. My name is Mrs. Fumi and I am your freshmen art teacher this year--" At that point in time I must've spaced out because I don't remember a single word she said afterward. Following that, Mrs. Fumi handed out a tiny pop quiz on the equipment in the art room. It was mostly simple as they were fill-in-the-blank questions. Once she collected them and placed them on her desk, she then walked back to the front of the room where the chalkboard was with a bunch of easels placed around a white table that sat in front of her. We learned how her class functioned and how to leave her alone and she'd leave us alone. Even with the stern aura, Mrs. Fumi seemed like a chill teacher, "Now students, we only have two minutes left in class. You can sit and talk quietly in the meantime. Once announcements end you are free to leave,"

Yeah, I was right. Mrs. Fumi is cool. Because once she finished what she said, she just headed towards her desk and let us do whatever we wanted, given we only had two minutes.

"She's an interesting teacher," Koki mumbled under his breath.

"Interesting? She's cool, it's great having these kinds of teachers," I glanced to where Mrs. Fumi was, "Although, I would have never thought she was an art teacher,"

"She was the math teacher for five years," The other person at our table started, catching us off guard, "Then, after supposedly getting bored she went for an art teacher instead,"
