𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧'𝐬 𝐛𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐟𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩

Byun Hyekyung sits on the floor, looking at the trainees who are still training. She notices some of them glaring at her since she got the break earliest and her break would end at the same time as other trainees.

She looks down, feeling guilty but she got nothing to do other than watch them continue to train. She looks at the trainees who are glaring at her while being scolded by the trainer every time they make a mistake.

"Uhm.. can I go to the toilet?" She asks and her trainee nodded. She gets up from the floor and leaves the room, glancing at the trainees. She exited the practice room and was about to go to the toilet but starts to hear a familiar song.

She decided to follow the song and it led her to another practice room. She watches the boys practising inside through the window. She heard the door open and turn her gaze to the door, seeing a boy.

"Uhm.. hello..?" The boy tilted his head, looking at her.

"Hello..." She slightly bowed her head and noticed his smile at her.

"Are you a trainee here?" He asked, walking closer to her as Hyekyung nodded.

"I'm Byun Hyekyung." She reaches her hand out for a handshake, smiling and the boy smiled, shaking hands with her.

"Byun? Are you related to Baekhyun Sunbaenim?" He asked and she nodded.

"I'm his little sister... what's your name?" She asked and he kept that wide smile on his face, making her see his lingual braces behind his teeth.

"Na Jaemin, we should really talk sometime."

Hyekyung knocks on the door before opening it slightly. She peeks her head in as the boys inside looks at her.

"Uhm.. can we help you?" One boy who looks older than her asked her, opening the door wider for her to see the boys clearly.

"Is Jaemi-"

"Kyungie!" Hyekyung slightly flinched when she heard his loud voice echo in the room. She looks at the side and saw Jaemin walking towards her before patting her head.

"What's wrong? Did something bad or good happen?" Jaemin asked and Hyekyung just smiled.

She grabbed Jaemin's wrist and drag him out of the practice room. She closes the door and makes sure no one is near them.

"What's wrong?" Jaemin asked, slightly confused.

"I'm going to debut on May~," She said and Jaemin wisely gasped, happy for her.

"Oh my God! Congratulations!!" He picks her up with all his strength and twirls her around.

"I'm so happy like really happy for you! I wish I can debut earlier too but only NCT U is debuting but I'm so proud of you!" Jaemin said, kissing her forehead.
