𝐰𝐡𝐲 𝐝𝐢𝐝𝐧'𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐥 𝐦𝐞?

Hyekyung sits down and her eyes land on the box on the very corner of her practice room.

She gets up from her chair and walks towards it, picking up the box. She went back to the sofa and sit down, opening the box.

"Fan letters..." She mumbled when she saw the countless envelopes inside. She smiled when there was a lot and even some doodles.

She takes some and starts to read it, laughing and smiling at her fans' letters.

She then grabbed another one and opened the envelope. She pulls out the letter inside and starts to read it.

She tilted her eyes when the handwriting seemed familiar.

Dear Hyekyung

I wanted to say everything to you personally but I couldn't face you anymore. I want to say I'm very sorry. Jeno told me how he wants to break up with you for my sake.

I figured that I don't want that because you guys seem so happy despite me still having feelings for you. I never even knew that you had feelings for me before.

Jeno told me that you guys talked yesterday and decided on something. He didn't tell me what but I know it's something.

I'm sorry for writing this letter but I also attended your fansign but I never got on stage, instead, I just put my letter in the fan letter box and left to cause attention.

I want us to be friends like before. I want us to make up again and start to hang out like nothing ever happened. I'm not sure if you and Jeno are still together but...

I want us to be friends again..

She felt her heart shatter when he wrote ex there. She leaned back on the sofa, thinking about her conversation with Jeno after her fansign.

[July 17 2019]

Hyekyung enters the cafe and went to the second floor. She saw Jeno by the window, sitting down with two cups on the table.

"Jeno," She called him and he smiled. She sits down and her eyes immediately went to his blonde hair which is almost meeting his eyes.

"Hey, you're here." He said, giving her the drink he bought. She thanked him and took a sip.

"Should we talk about our relationship already?" He said with a smile and she nodded softly.

There was silence between them for a couple of minutes. Hyekyung looked at Jeno when he gets up from his chair and leaned closer to her face.

Jeno then paused for a second and look at her in the eyes before his eyes went to her lips.

He leaned even closer and connected their lips. Hyekyung melted into the kiss as Jeno placed his hand on her cheeks, pulling her closer.

Jeno broke the kiss and heard familiar gasps. He looks around and sees everyone in the cafe looking at them. He looks at the cafe entrance and saw the Dreamies with Mark, Taeyong and Doyoung.

"What are you looking at?" Hyekyung turns her head by the door but before she could even see them, Jeno grabbed her hand and gave her drink to her.

"Let's go to the second floor." He said and starts to drag her to the second floor and sit down peacefully.

"I'm sorry I did that... I figured that we won't be able to do that ever again after today." He said and she chuckled softly, sighing.

"I'll end it here then..." She mumbled but loud enough for Jeno to hear. Jeno nodded, looking down and gripping on his pants, trying to hold his tears.

He closes his eyes, preparing himself. There was silence and he gulped.

"Lee Jeno, thank you for being my boyfriend. We didn't last longer than expected but I'm thankful for making me experience this." She paused, trying not to cry and smiled sweetly.

She took Jeno's hand and held it and kissed it.

"Let's break up."

Hyekyung finishes reading all the letters and put all of them back in the box, excluding Jaemin's.

She closes the box, smiling softly when she heard the door open and saw who entered it.

She turns around, seeing Jeno and the Dreamies except for Jaemin.

"What brings you boys here?" She asked, sealing the box with tape and put Jaemin's letter on top of it.

"We just want to check on how you're doing and judging from the letter on top of the box, you've read his," Jeno said, patting her head and kissed her forehead.

"He said in the letter that you didn't tell him what we talked about yesterday." She said and Jeno nodded.

"I couldn't tell him... well, I don't want to tell him cause..." He looked at Haechan who just smirked.

"We got a plan and we won't tell you what it is."

I keep changing the plans I have for this chapter cause I don't like it.

I like how it turned out now but I'm not satisfied with it
