𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐭𝐨𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫

Hyekyung knocks on the door, waiting for it to open. Once it opened, she looks at the person who opened it and smiled. She ruffles his hair.

"And good morning, Jeno." She said and he smiled, letting her inside the dorm. She thanks him and went inside, placing her bag on the side of the sofa and sit down.

"The others still asleep?" She asked and Jeno shook his head.

"Nope, only Jaemin, Renjun and I are awake." He said, sitting beside her and she nodded.

"Are you still working out until now?" She asked Jeno and he nodded.

"But not much this week. My arms kinda hurt so, I didn't really work out yet." He said and she pouted. She starts to massage his arm, making him chuckle.

"That means you watch what you eat?" She asked and he nodded. He stares at her as she massages his arm.

He suddenly placed his other hand on her cheeks, surprising her and makes her look at him in confusion.

"Thank you." He said softly and she tilted her head. He pecked her lips, surprising her again.

"Thank you for making me experience this. I really appreciated it and I loved it." He intertwined their hands before kissing her forehead.

"Even though we're not dating anymore because we both know your feelings for Jaemin, I still loved that I was also there as your boyfriend." He says softly, his voice becoming softer every minute.

"I did wish that I would be the one to spend my whole time with you but of course, we both know that can't happen.." He lets out a soft laugh which sounded sad and it shattered her heart.

"I love you, Hyekyung... even though you love Jaemin... so, thank you for everything."

Jaemin exited his room, all dressed up already and suddenly starts hearing Jeno's voice like he's talking to someone.

He took a peek and saw him talking to Hyekyung. He immediately hid and listened to their conversation.

"Even though we're not dating anymore because we both know your feelings for Jaemin, I still loved that I was also there as your boyfriend." He froze upon hearing Jeno's words.

"I did wish that I would be the one to spend my whole time with you but of course, we both know that can't happen.." He heard Jeno let out a hurt and soft laugh which sent Jaemin to the edge.

"I love you, Hyekyung... even though, you love Jaemin... so, thank you for everything." Jaemin closes his eyes, feeling a tear escape his eye.

It did hurt him, so much.

He walked towards his bedroom's door and open it and closed it again, making a sound like he just came out of the room.

He takes a deep breath, wiping the tear on his face before showing himself.

Jeno and Hyekyung sitting with a distance between them unlike what he saw before. He smiled, seeing Hyekyung.

"You're here?" He asked and she nodded. She stands up, looking at Jaemin.

"It's been a while and I want to congratulate you personally for We Boom. I want to treat you out first before the other boys." She smiles widely and Jaemin chuckled.

He patted her head, kissing her forehead before her cheek, making Jeno stiffen but softly smiled anyway.

"Then... should we go?" Jaemin asked and she nodded. They were about to exit the dorm until Hyekyung stopped her tracks and looked at Jeno. Jaemin also looked at Jeno, waiting for what Hyekyung was about to say.

"Jeno, I'm also thankful you were there for me. Your welcome for the experience and thank you for your love." She then exited the dorm and Jaemin stiffened, seeing a tear escape his eyes.

Jaemin walks closer towards him, patting his head as he watches his tears fall.

"Jeno-yah, thank you for being there with her when I couldn't. You're the best friend I could ever have." He said before leaving the dorm with Hyekyung.

Jaemin locks the door of the dorm before he turns around and faces Hyekyung's back.

"Are you okay?" He asked softly and she flinched, turning around and smiling at him.

"Yeah, I'm okay! I feel so relieved that I was able to tell Jeno that." She said, chuckling and Jaemin walks towards her.

She looks up at him in confusion, anticipating what he will do next.

Jaemin gently smiled and places his hand on her cheek before on top of her head. He leaned closer to her face.

Before she knew it, he connected their lips. Hyekyung felt her heart soften and melted into the kiss, smiling softly as she closes her eyes.

Jaemin breaks the kiss and showed his wide smile, hugging her.

"I'm so glad we're back together."

"Let's just act like friends even though we're doing this already."

"Yeah, it's better for you, isn't it?"
