𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐞𝐫 𝐮𝐩 𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐞

Jeno knocks on the door a couple of times before it finally opened. He took a peek and saw Hyekyung who looks like she just woke up.

"Hey, you good?" Jeno asked but she just shakes her head.

"Let me in, come on," Jeno said and Hyekyung let her in. Jeno thanked her and she closes the door before going to her living room.

Jeno followed and saw Bbangkyu just sitting on the sofa, eyes on the TV.

He follows Hyekyung to the kitchen and worriedly looks at her.

"Let's go somewhere today," Jeno said and Hyekyung stiffened. She looks at him, confused.

"What?"

"I want to make you smile today. Anyway, we'll be working again tomorrow so, it's better to be back to normal." Jeno said, walking closer to her.

He held her hand and kissed the back of her hand.

"Get ready cause we'll be going on a cheer up date."

[9:35 am]

Jeno knocked on the bedroom door before entering. He saw her fixing her hair and smiled.

Baekhyun came earlier to pick Bbangkyu up so, the two can go out peacefully. Jeno grabs the straightener from the table and starts to help her.

Hyekyung smiled, letting Jeno do her hair. She looks at the mirror, seeing Jeno so focused on her hair.

"Where will we go today?" She asked and Jeno hummed.

"Kakao Friends in Hongdae and maybe, Line Friends in Myeongdeong. I know you like characters so, why not see your favourite ones?" Jeno smiled and she chuckled.

"Can we also go to IKEA? I want to buy something there for a long time." Hyekyung asked softly and Jeno nodded.

"Speak loudly to me. I'll be trying to cheer you up after all." Jeno said and kissed her cheek before he placed the straightener on the table and turn it off.

"Okay then." She said, standing up. She went to the living room, grabbing her shoes from the rack and put it on. Jeno turns the TV off and the lights off, letting the sunlight light the house.

Hyekyung puts her phone, wallet and all necessities in her purse and they exited her apartment building which is also the same building Baekhyun lives in.

[10:30 am]

Hyekyung smiles when she entered they entered the store. She saw a huge Ryan plushie and run towards it.

She picks it up and boop his nose. Jeno chuckled at her cuteness.

"Don't you already have that one at home?" Jeno asked and she nodded. She returned it to the shelf before seeing another good.

She walks towards it like a child exploring a candy store.

"What do you even want to buy?" Jeno asked, following Hyekyung.

"Oh, maybe this one!" She said, grabbing two Ryan phone cases. She gave Jeno one for his iPhone model.

"Matching?" He smiles, looking at her and she nodded.

The two continue to look around, grabbing anything that catches their interest (which is everything pocketsized) and heads to the third floor where the cafe is.

They sit down by the window and beside a Ryan.

"What else can you buy cause I can call my manager to take your things to your apartment?" Jeno asked as he placed the food tray on the table.

Hyekyung takes a picture of it and smiled at him.

"No need! I already talked to Baekhyun and he said that he can help us out. Anyway, most of these are just my stuff so, it's okay." Hyekyung said, feeding Jeno a macaron.

"Okay.. hey, wanna try this out already?" Jeno asked, taking out he phone cases from the plastic and open it.

He gave Hyekyung the one with his name and Jeno removes the case of his phone. He put on the Ryan one and chuckled at how cute it is.

"Matching~," Jeno said and Hyekyung chuckled.

The two continue to talk, not caring if there are people talking about them or even taking pictures of them.

After a while, the two get up and bought a few more plushies for both of them and exited the store.

They saw Baekhyun's car. Baekhyun gets out of the car to help and told them to get inside.

Jeno opened the door for Hyekyung to enter and closes it. He helped Baekhyun get everything else in the car.

"Thanks," Baekhyun patted his shoulder as they both enter the car. Jeno smiles at Hyekyung.

Hyekyung rests her head on his shoulders as Baekhyun start to drive. He keeps eyeing the two.

"Myeongdeong next?" He asked and the two nodded.

Jeno's eyes landed on her hand and gulped. He intertwined their fingers and Hyekyung chuckled.

"Just date already," Baekhyun said and the two blushed at his words but they didn't even try to say no.

"It's either just date already or are you already dating?" Baekhyun smirked, stopping at a red light.

"Baekhyun!" Hyekyung pouted and he laughed.

"Ah, why? You aren't denying it." He playfully shakes his head and Hyekyung looks away, blushing. Jeno pinched her ears when he noticed it getting red.

Baekhyun smiles, finally seeing his sister back to normal because of his own junior. Baekhyun starts to drive again once the light turns green.

Jeno and Hyekyung continue to talk as Baekhyun was thinking about her friendship with Jaemin.

Will they make up? Will Jaemin finally confess to her? Will they really stop being friends?

Being her brother, these questions are in his head the whole time he focused on driving.

He takes a glance at the two and Hyekyung kissed Jeno's cheek. Baekhyun swore he almost stepped on the breaks when she did that but luckily he didn't and the two didn't notice.

"Like I said, just date already."
