𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐡𝐢𝐦

Hyekyung sneaks into the SMEB, holding a box. She walks to NCT's practice room, making sure that it's not NCT Dream inside but 127.

She opens the door, taking a peek and saw 127 inside. She sighs in relief before opening the door widely and knock to catch their attention.

"Yah- what-- I thought, you're missing!!" Doyoung shouted, pointing at her. Hyekyung chuckles, closing the door.

She shushed them, placing a finger on her lips.

"The Dreamies are promoting right now so, I chose this time to come here to greet someone." She places the box on the table before removing her cap and smiles widely at Mark.

"Happy Birthday, Mark." She said and Mark chuckles, immediately feeling embarrassed and thanked her.

She opens the box and brings out the cake. She places it on the table and Mark wowed at it.

"I made it with my mom which is why I wasn't here yesterday. I visited EXO and saw Jeno and I went back to my hometown in the afternoon to make this cake with my mom." She said, putting her bag down.

"I hope you like it." She smiles and Mark took a picture of it.

"I love it! Yah, thank you so so so much! It's so cute." He said, patting her head. It was a chibi version of Regular Mark with the tiger he 'raised'.

"It's so cute! Yah, Hyekyung will make our cakes from this day forward." Johnny said and they all laughed.

Mark asks for a knife and plates and was about to cut the cake until Taeyong stopped him.

"Uhm, not a good idea." He smiled and starts to cut the cake. He puts them on the plate, leaving some leftovers for the other members later.

He gives everyone a plate and puts the knife down.

"Let the birthday boy have the first bite," Hyekyung said, giving Mark a fork and everyone else. Mark takes a bite of the cake and his eyes widen.

"Wah! It's really good! It's like most but at the same time, it melts in your mouth! I can eat this everyday!" Mark said a huge smile on his face.

"Yah! It's really good!" Yuta said after tasting it and Hyekyung thanked them.

"You gotta make cakes for us after this day," Johnny said, making everyone laugh once again.

"She is now the sorceress of cakes of SME," Jaehyun said and she shakes her head.

"Can I have another one?" Jungwoo asked, finishing his and raising the empty plate.

"You finished yours already!? Such a foodie."

Hyekyung waves goodbye after giving them the second cake she made just in case one isn't enough.

She exits the building and gets in the car. She waits for the driver to come back after a minute and saw a van stopped in front of the car.

She covers her face as soon as she recognizes the plate number of the van.

Jeno comes out of the van first and the other members followed. Her eyes landed on Jaemin who was looking all gloomy and was frowning.

The six boys entered the building and her driver finally came back. She sighs in relief.

"Back to Bucheon please."

Jaemin and the Dreamies entered the practice room and the first thing they saw was Jungwoo eating and two members stopping him from eating more.

"Jungwoo, you had three slices of cake! Stop eating!" Johnny said, taking the plate from Jungwoo who just pouted.

"You can eat more later, okay? You can't eat too much sugar." Taeyong said and Jungwoo nodded.

"Cake? What cake?" Chenle asked, making the Hyungs look at them.

"Hyekyung came here and gave Mark two boxes of amazing chocolate cake but she just left. Jungwoo apparently wouldn't stop eating it." Taeyong said, keeping his eyes on Jungwoo.

Jaemin's face lit up when he said Hyekyung's name.

"Hyekyung? She came here?" Jaemin asked and Mark nodded, putting the slices of cake in plates for the Dreamies.

"Yeah but you just missed her. She just left like five minutes ago. She's probably far from the building already." He said, giving them the plate with cake on it.

"Eat it before Jungwoo gets hungry again and finishes it all. It tastes amazing like literally the best cake." Mark said and everyone starts to eat the cake.

"Wah! This taste so good! Can Hyekyung make our cakes from now on?" Jeno asked and everyone laughed.

"That's what we keep on telling her earlier!!" Johnny shouted, making everyone laugh harder.

While everyone was busy talking, Haechan tapped on Mark's shoulder, making the older look at the younger.

"Did Hyekyung tell you something about why she isn't showing herself to Jaemin?" He whispered and Mark remembers what she told them earlier.

"Yeah, she did but I can't tell you. You have a big mouth." He said and Haechan pouted.

"Tell me~" He starts to do aegyo and Mark sighed.

"Aegyo just wants me to punch your face right now. I can't tell you and I probably won't." He said and he pushed him away, pouting.

"Mark, did Hyekyung give you the location?" Haechan heard Jaehyun ask Mark.

"What location?" He asked and Jaehyun only shakes his head, dragging Mark out of the room to Hyekyung's practice room.

"Did she?"

"Yeah, but she did say we need to help her."

"We all agreed on it and it's for Jaemin as well anyway. So, where is the location?"

"Tuileries Garden."
