"Is that really it?" a teen girl with dark hair thrown into a messy bun, sitting front row questions me, her dark blue eyes pleading with mine. "Lizzie and Tommy never see each other again?"

I peer down at the girl from my seat and give her a genuine smile. I absolutely love how enthralled and engaged my readers become when reading my book.

My Book. Even after a year of having written it, it still feels weird to say that. A wonderful weird though.

"I'm giving you the chance to write your own ending." I explain in a soft voice, sometimes my readers need reassurance, they get too caught up in the book and the characters and plead for a way to change the ending.

Sadly the ending never changed. I sighed and shook my head free from my thoughts to continue my conversation with her.

"Their are endless possibilities for their love story, how do you want them to end up?"

She chewed on her lower lip and held a copy of my book close to her chest "I want Tommy to wait for her and prove that he loves her." She sighs and shakes her head "But reality is, guys aren't like that."

Don't I know it sweetheart... I thought before responding "Good thing this isn't reality then..." I shot her a smile and a wink "But that's not to say that one day you won't find your own Tommy and he will be exactly what you want him to be."

Her cheeks tinted pink and she sent me a matching smile with a nod, before I heard another feminine voice come from behind her, trying to gain my attention. I looked over her shoulder and saw a girl probably about her age or maybe a year older but no older than 19, she had honey blonde hair and these almond brown eyes. Pretty girl.

"Yes?"

She smiled and sat my book on her lap "I read online that this book was based on a true love story. In fact, they said it was yours, is that true?"

My breath caught in my throat and I sat frozen. I didn't know how to respond because truthfully she caught me off guard, I had yet to see the article she spoke of or the not so false rumor going around about my book. I cleared my throat and put on a fake smile, I had to turn this rumor off right now, I didn't need this to be known as my love story — even if it was.

"What I will tell you is not to believe everything you read. This is someones love story; whether or not it is mine, I have no comment to that."

I couldn't lie. For some reason I found it so hard to lie to my readers, they were the ones who brought me to where I am today and they trusted me to create a romance novel worth reading. I may have beaten around the bushes and omitted the truth but I couldn't directly tell them a lie.

Another girl seated a few rows back, questioned me this time "Will there be another book? A sequel maybe? Because it would definitely be on my top reading list!"

I smiled in appreciation at the girl. She was probably my age, 21, or a bit older with blonde hair and green eyes. "I can't promise anything just yet but I want there to be."

The questions kept coming and I read a few more passages from my book titled 'Her First Everything.'

I wrote the book about a year ago and just as recent as six months ago I got it published. My publisher adored the book and was shocked and impressed at how young I was and how beautifully I was able to construct a teen romance novel. Needless to say from there on the book began its circulation and here I am six months later at my very first book signing, speaking to girls on a topic which they can truly relate to.
