I rolled over and hit the alarm clock on my phone. "Shit." I mumbled. I lifted my tired body out of the bed and closed the blinds that were hurting my eyes. "Morning beautiful." I turned around to see August just waking up, smiling at me. "Goodmorning."
"What time is it?" He yawned and waited for me to answer. "7 am." He sighed. "Damn, I gotta go." He got up from the bed and walked into the bathroom, cutting on the shower water. "Um, I know you have to get ready to go, but so do I." He smirked. "Ight, let's just shower together."
I chuckled. "Or, you can go to the one of the guests bathroom's and shower." He sucked his teeth. "Why I gotta use the guest bathroom? Why can't you??" I lifted my shirt above my head and walked into the bathroom. "Go get Aliyah up for school, and then take your shower...in the guest bathroom." He laughed. "Whatever." He turned around and walked out of our bedroom.
AUGUST P.O.V.
I walked down the hallway and took a deep breath once I got to Aliyah's door. This was the first time I was gunna be seeing her since she told Simone about the Ryelle situation. I cracked open her door and smiled once I seen her fast asleep in bed.
I walked inside and softly shook her shoulder to ake her up. "It's time to get up Li-Li." She rubbed her eyes until she finally opened him, blinking to clear her vision. Once she saw me standing over her, she frowned.
"Goodmorning princess." She was silent. "....Your not gunna tell daddy goodmorning?" She sat up and bed and looked around. "Where's mommy?" "She's taking a bath." I said in a sigh. She nodded and laid back down in the bed.
"....What you doing? It's time for school." She rolled over in bed, not wanting to face me. "I want mommy to get me up, so I'll wait." I sighed and stood up straight. "Aliyah, you have to get up for school, your gunna be late." She moved around in bed a little and got comfortable.
I walked over to the foot of her bed and pulled her comforter off of her. "Hey!" She semi-yelled. She sat up in bed and huffed, folding her arms across her chest. "It's time to get up, now Aliyah." She huffed again. "I don't want you to get me up, I want mommy to get me up, she's the one who loves me."
I frowned and dropped her comforter on the ground. "What?? What makes you think I don't love you Li-Li?" She frowned and looked away from me. I walked over to her and sat down beside her. "Why would you think I don't love you?" She paused before speaking. "Because." She started.
"My friend Tommy told me that he saw his daddy kissing another girl, and then he left and he didn't love him or his mommy anymore." I sighed. "You think Im gunna leave you and mommy?" She nodded her head yes.
"I would never leave you and mommy, I love y'all more than anything. And I would never stop loving you either." She looked down in her lap and started to play with her fingers. "So why'd you kiss her?" I sighed. "You want me to be honest?" She nodded. "I don't why baby, but what I do know is that is was a huge mistake and it will never ever happen again." She was silent for a second.
"Do you still love mommy?" I nodded my head yes. "A whole bunch." She nodded. "Are we still gunna be a family?" I cracked a small smile. "Yeah of course." She finally lifted her head up and looked me in the face. "Okay...I guess im not mad anymore." I smiled. "So your gunna talk to me?" She nodded her head yes. I smiled widely.
"You know, I cried myself to sleep every night you didn't talk to me." She cracked a small smile. "Really?" I nodded. "Yeah, I was really sad." She smiled and sat on my lap. "Well I didn't want you to cry." I chuckled. "I was bawling like a big ol' baby." She laughed. "Aw, Im sorry daddy." She wrapped her arms around my neck and kissed my cheek.
