SIMONE P.O.V.
I pulled my tube top up over my chest and smirked at myself in the mirror. "Aliyah are you dressed??" I yelled out my room door. "Yes!" She yelled back.I pushed my hair over my shoulders and made my way down the hall to her room.
"You got all your toys ready?" She nodded her head yes. "Yep, I have all my barbies so Tia and I can play outside with them." I smiled. "Alright, good." She turned around looked me up and down. "You look nice mommy." I chuckled.
"And so do you." I held my hand ou for her to grab, and led her downstairs. "Im going to open the sliding door, tell me of you hear the bell ring. She sat down on the couch and nodded her head. As soon as I turned around, the doorbell went off.
"Is that Tia?" She asked, standing up. "It should be." I stood up straight and walked towards the front of the house, feeling slightly nervous. I stood on my tippy toes and looked through the peep hole, happy to see Sean and Tia standing there.
I unlocked the door and pulled it open. "Hello Ms.Simone." I smiled once I heardd Tia greet me. "Hey Tia, how are you?" She hugged me and stepped into the house. "Im good...is Aliyah here?" She asked looking around my legs. I nodded my head yes. "She should be in the living room, you can run back here and see." She smiled at me one more time before taking off towards the back of the house calling for Aliyah, once I heard they found each other, I started to laugh.
"Hey ma." I looked up at Sean, who was staring at me with a smirk on his face. "Hey, come in." He stepped inside the house, as I closed the door behind him. "You got a nice ass house." He said looking around.
"I guess." I mumbled. "Since the kids are gunna be playing in the backyard, we can sit in the living room to keep an eye on them." He nodded his head, agreeing with me. "It's this way." I stepped infront of him, leading him into the living room, feeling his eyes on my backside the whole time.
I took a seat on the couch and patted the space behind me. He threw his head back, causing his dreads to flip back in the process. He sat down beside me and leaned back, placing both of his arms at the top of the couch.
"Getting comfortable?" He chuckled. "You want me to get comfortable?" I smirked. "Anyways." I started. "How you been? It's been a minute since we talked." He nodded. "Yeah it has, I was starting to think you wasn't gon call a nigga, but I've been good." "And why is that?" He rubbed his beard and smiled.
"You know, you still technically married, I wasn't sure if you were down with havin any friends." I laughed once I heard the emphasis he put on the word friends. "Im grown, I can do whatever I want, besides we really are just friends." He looked me up and down and nodded.
"Yeah we are, for now." I lifted a brow. "For now? What does that mean?" I folded my arms across my chest and turned to the side. He was just about to answer me until the sound of Aliyah's voice stopped him. "Mommy where's the chalk?" I looked over my shoulder to see Tia and Aliyah standing side by side.
"The last place you left it, outside on the table." She nodded and ran abck outside with Tia behind her. "They really like each other huh?" I turned back around and looked at Sean. "Yeah they do, but don't try to change the subject, what do you mean by for now?" He laughed.
"Damn, was it that serious?" I nodded my head yes. "What I mean is, if we keep spending time together, Im sure it's gunna turn into more, cause Im really tryn get to know you...only if you want that though, Im only gon take it as far as you let me." A small smirk formed on his lips, causing me to smirk.
"Right....so what do you do?" I asked. "Im a real estate agent." I frowned, looking him up and down. "You?? a real estate agent?" He chuckled. "Damn, why you sound so suprised?" I shook my head. "You just don't look like a real estate agent." He nodded. "I know, I get that alot, but what do you do?"
