Chapter 39

"Come on mommy! We have to go!!" I quickly slipped on my jimmy choo flip flops and stood up from the bed. "Ok Aliyah, im coming, hold your horses." I threw my hair up in a messy ponytail and grabbed my purse. "Come on!!" I heard Aliyah yell from the downstairs. I sighed and turned on my heels, going down the stairs as quickly as I could.

"Im coming, see Im ready." Aliyah smiled and ran over to the front door, opening it. "We gotta go now mommy!" I walked out the door and locked it. "What's the rush Li-Li? You never been this exicted to go to Auntie Kelsey's house." I hit the locks on the car and walked over to it, while Aliyah ran and got inside.

I opened up my door and slid inside. "You got all your things?" I slipped my key in the ignition and turned around to her. "Yeah, let's go!" I chuckled and turned around, starting up the car.

AUGUST P.O.V.

"Your total is $2,342,004.17." I took a deep breath and pulled out my card from my wallet and handed it to the cashier. I watched her swipe my card and then hand it back to me. "Alright, your all set, thank you for shopping at Jefferey's Jewelers, come again." I took my receit from the cashier and turned to Jason. "Thanks for helping me out." I held my hand out, and quickly gave him dap.

"No problem, I got you." I nodded. "You didn't tell Kerri about this right?" He shook his head no. "Ight good, I don't want Simone finding out about this yet." He chuckled. "Well goodluck man, I hope she likes the jewelry." I nodded. "Ight, thanks."

I turned and walked out the shop, hopping in my car.

SIMONE P.O.V.

You be good alright?" I handed Aliyah her bag and watched her as she stepped into Kelsey's condo. "Make sure she goes to bed on time, she's only six Kelsey, she doesn't need to be staying up till 12 am." She nodded. "Okay, Okay, damn your such a mom." I chuckled.

"Whatever, is Craig here?" She nodded. "You want me to get him?" I shook my head no. "No, just tell him I said hey." I looked down at the watch I was wearing and sighed. "Shit, I have to go, Im going out tonight and I don't want to be late, Ellis is picking me up and you know how he gets when he has to wait."

She laughed. "I know, tell my bae I sad hey boo." I shook my head. "Alright, call me if anything ." I gave her a quick hug and got back inside the car, making my way back home.

AUGUST P.O.V.

I slipped my key into the front door of the house. Aliyah had just called me a few minutes ago and let me know Simone was on her way back home. I quickly grabbed all the bags I had brought with me and stepped inside. I inhaled deeply taking in the smell of the chanel perfume Simone always wore, that was mixed with a hint of lemon lysol spray she always used. "Smells like home." I said to myself. I closed and locked the door behind me, before making my way upstairs to our bedroom.

I pushed open the door and sat all the bags on the bed. I purposely placed the bag full of jewelery on the opposite side of the bed so she wouldn't be able to see it when she walked inside.

I opened up the huge brown paper bag and pulled out a bottle of champagne, and two glasses. I undid the ties on the two boquet of roses and started picking the petals off, letting them fall freely over the floor. I didn't know how well this was gunna work, but putting in some type of effort is always better than doing nothing.

SIMONE P.O.V.

I slowly pulled into the driveway, next to Augusts' car that parked in his usual spot. "Maybe he came to get some things." I said to myself. I grabbed my purse out of the passenger seat and slid put the car, hitting the locks in the process.
