I pushed my shades closer to my face as I stepped inside LeBou. I glanced around the room until I seen Kelsey talking to one of the customer service people. I sighed and pulled my purse up on my shoulder and walked over to her.

"Can you get these in a size four please?" The lady nodded and walked away towards the back of the store. I tapped her on the shoulder, causing her to turn around.

"Hey, you finally made it." She smiled and pulled me into a quick hug. "Yeah, so what did you need my help with?" She opened her mouth to speak, but the sound of the woman's voice stopped her.

"Here you go miss." Kelsey smiled and took the two dresses from her. "Thank you." She turned to me and held up the two silk gowns that were covers. "Which one you think looks better?"

I looked both of the dresses up and down before speaking. "The one to the right....why are they white?" She smacked her lips together before shifting her weightto her right leg.

"Because Craig told me to wear white tonight." I frowned. "For what??" She shrugged. "I don't know, just help me pick out something nice."

I pushed my shades to the top of my head and grabbed the dress she was holding to the right. "Fine, put that one back, and I help style you." A wide smile spread across her face. "Thank you Simi, your a life saver."

AUGUST P.O.V.

I looked down at my watch to check the time. Once I seen how late it was, I took a deep breath and let it out slowly. "Ight Michelle, I gotta go." I grabbed my keys off the table and headed towards the door.

"Your leaving? You sure you got everything under control??" I nodded. "Yeah for now, but I gotta get home and change, and pick up the kids when they get out of school." I quickly grabbed my tshirt and my bag off the table.

She nodded. "Thank you for last night though, you really came through for a nigga, I really needed it." She smiled. "Of course, anytime."

"I'll see you later right?" She nodded her head yes. "Yeah, definetely." I smiled at her one more time before leaving. I shuffled though my key ring, looking for my car key, when my phone started vibrating in my pocket.

Half of me knew it was Simone calling me again, but I decided to check on it anyways. I pulled my phone halfway out of my pocket and sighed once I seen her calling me again. I hit silent and quickly got into the car.

I let out a sharp sigh as I hung up the phone. "Which earring do you like more?" I dropped my phone into my purse, and looked up at the three different sets of earrings Kelsey was pointing too.

"The first pair is cute....what do you think? I mean, your the one that has to wear it. She nodded. "I actually was going to pick the first one, but I wanted your expert opinion first." I chuckled. "Right."

"No seriously." She started. "Remember when we were younger, you always helped me pick out my clothes on picture day and stuff, and you helped me pick out my dress for prom, your always helping me on my major events."

I lifted a brow. "Major events? What makes tonight so major?" She bit down on her bottom lip before looking up at me. "...I think tonight might be the night."

"The night for what?" I asked folding my arms across my chest. "You know....proposal." My eyes widened. "Proposal?? I thought you and Craig didn't want to get married?" She nodded.

"Well yeah, at first we both agreed amarriage wasn't for us, especially seeing what you and August went through, but as time went on, we changed our minds, especially seeing how much you guys love one another, and always end up being together in the end of all of your drama."
