A WEEK LATER-SIMONE P.O.V.
After doing our televised interview a week ago, the media had calmed down with all the rumors involving Ryelle and August. Even though I still wasn't 100% comfortable with Ryelle still being on tour with him, Im letting him work for my trust again, and so far he's been doing great. I emptied a box full of clothes on the table and began folding them with Kerri and Ellis.
"So what are you and Jason doing for Valentine's day?" Ellis asked leaning into Kerri and I. "I know we're going to dinner, but after that Im not sure, he says he has a suprise for me." Both of my brows shot up. "What?? A suprise?" She nodded.
"....Do you think he's gunna pop the question?" Kerri chuckled. "No, I don't think so." "Ion think so either." Ellis mumbled. I rolled my eyes and looked back at Kerri. "Well I think so, I mean, you've been dating since that Christmas party five years ago, I think he's gunna ask you." She shrugged.
"Well I guess we'll see then." I smacked my lips together. "Are you nervous at all?" She shook her head no. "If he asks, he asks, if he doesn't, he doesn't, it's fine with me." I sighed. "If you say so."
"So what about you?" She nudged my side and smiled. "What are you and August doing for Valentine's day?" I smiled. "Im not sure, but knowing August he'll probably try to suprise me and come home." Ellis lifted a brow. "Wait, has he mentioned Valentine's day yet?" I shook my head no.
"No, we just got back on good terms, and he's been working non stop, Im sure he has someting planned and he's not mentioning it on purpose." Kerri nodded in agreement. "I think so too, every year he always does something sweet for you." I smiled. "Yeah, he does."
Ellis chuckled. "You better hope he ain't forget." I frowned. "He hasn't forgotten Ellis, you always have so much to say, but you don't have a man." He smacked his lips together. "Damn sus, you ain't have to call my bitter ass out like that." I chuckled.
"Whatever, Im sure August will fly home after his show on Valentine's day and come see me." Ellis nodded. "Mhm sure."
"So what are you doing?" I asked as I lifted a brow. "Your the only single one, so Im curious to know how your gunna spend your day." He fanned me off and smirked. "Just because Im single, don't mean I don't got connections." I frowned. "And what does that mean??"
"It means, ima call up one of my old sugar daddies." I chuckled. "Alright, good luck with that."
AUGUST P.O.V
I walked inside the venue for tonight and watched everyone set up for soundcheck. "Hey grandpa." I sucked my teeth and gave Ryelle a head nod. "Wassup Ry." She shook her head, nothing, I just wanted to get a look at the stage before my soundcheck." I nodded.
"Oh ight cool." She smiled. "Yeah, oh and tell Chris I said thanks for setting up those interviews, im glad all those rumors were put to rest." I nodded my head in agreement. "Yeah I do too, I'll tell him though." She nodded. "So how've you been? We hardly talk anymore, since were keeping our distance these days." I chuckled.
"I know, but Im good, what about you?" She smiled. "Im doing way better than before, now that all the drama is over with." I looked her up and down, wondering what was different about her. "You good?" She chuckled. "Yeah, Im real good." I folded my arms across my chest and stared at her. "Something's different about you, your hella happy."
"Is that a crime?" She asked in a chuckle. I shook my head no. "No, but Im curious to know why yo ass is so jolly all of a sudden." She laughed. "Well, if you must know, I finally have some Valentine's day plans." Both of my brows lifted. "Really? With who?" She smacked her lips together.
