I kicked my heels off at the door and drug my tired body up the stairs. It was almost 12 in the morning and I was just getting back home. I spent the whole night at the club with Ellis, Kerri, Brian and Sean. It took me a while, but I eventually got out of my funk and tried to enjoy the rest of the night. I threw my purse on the bed and unzipped my dress, pulling it off of my body. I layed back on the bed and wrapped the covers around me, closing my eyes in the process.

As soon as I got confortable enough to go to sleep, I heard a muffled vibration coming from my purse. I sighed and reached my hand out, trying to feel for my purse. Once I got it, I kept my eyes closed as I pulled it open and felt around for my phone. I turned on my back and brought my phone up to eye level to see Kelsey calling me. I quickly answered, hoping nothing happened with Aliyah.

ME: "Hello? Is Aliyah Okay??"

KELSEY: "Simone I need you to come down to the hospital right now."

I sat up in bed once I heard the worry in her voice.

ME: "The hospital? What wrong? Did something happen to Aliyah?? Is she Okay??"

KELSEY: "Aliyah's fine, she's here with me, It's August."

I pulled the covers off of my body and swung my legs over the side of the bed.

ME: "August??...What happened to him???"

She took a deep breath before speaking.

KELSEY: "Apparently him and Craig went to the bar earlier tonight, and they had a few drinks, Craig came home early, and August stayed and had a few more drinks.."

ME: "And what happened Kelsey???"

KELSEY: "...He got into a accident on the way home, but don't panic he's fine, it was nothing serious."

I stood up from the bed and immediately put my phone on speaker.

ME: "What do you mean it's not serious, is he hurt?"

KELSEY: "He hurt his leg, and he has a few cuts and bruises, but he's fine, they gunna release him soon."

I opened up my drawer and pulled out a pair of sweatpants and a sweatshirt.

ME: "Alright, Im getting dressed now, I'll be there in a minute, how's Aliyah?"

She sighed.

KELSEY: "She was crying, I guess she was scared, but once she saw he was okay, she calmed down a little, but she's been asking for you."

I sighed.

ME: "Okay, just keep comforting her until I get there, I'll call you back."

I hung up the phone and got dressed as fast as I could.

**************************

I held my head down as I passed all of the flashing cameras that were outside of the hospital.

I stepped into the hospital's lobby and took a sigh of relief once I seen Kelsey, Craig and Aliyah all waiting on me. "Mommy!!" Aliyah let go off Kelsey hand and ran over to me as fast as she could. I scooped her up in my arms and held her. "Hey, you okay?" She nodded and wiped her red face. "Don't cry baby, daddy's fine okay?" She nodded again. I kissed her forehead and she wrapped her arms around my neck, holding me really tight.

"What room is he in?" I asked, walking over to Kelsey and Craig. "They blocked off the fourth floor for him, he's in room 409." I nodded. "Okay, Im gunna go up there." I sat Aliyah down on the ground and bent down to her level. "Im gunna go check on daddy really quick okay? You stay here with Auntie Kelsey and Uncle Craig." She nodded slowly. I sighed and stood back up, hate seeing her this sad.

I turned around and made my way over to the elevator with the security guard infront of it. "Im sorry ma'am, this elevator is off limits right now, you can take the other one to your left." I sighed. "My husband is on the fourth floor." He was silent for a second. "Ima need to see some ID ma'am." I sighed again and shuffled through my purse, pulling out my ID. He looked at it and nodded his head. "Alright, you may go." He stepped to the side and opened the elevator for me. I stepped inside and hit the number 4. As the doors closed, I thought about how awkward it might be to see him again tonight, after what happened earlier. I took a deep breath as the doors opened again, stopping on his secluded floor.

I stepped out of the elevator and bumped into someone who was standing directly infront of the elevator doors. "Im sorry ma'am." I looked up to see a security guard standing infront of me. I guess he was here to make sure no one just randomnly came up on his floor, looking for August. "It's fine." He stepped to the side and motioned for me to walk. "Your husband is in 409, the room surrounded by security." He pointed down the hall so I could see.

There were atleast five men surrounding his door, and one at every exit. I smiled at the man and nodded. "Thank you." I walked down the empty hallway until I got to Augusts' door. I took a deep breath and pushed the door open. August looked up from his phone, somewhat shocked too see me. "Hey ma." I let out a soft smile. "Hey, are you alright?"

I walked over to his bedside and examined him. He had a brace on his knee, the same knee that he hurt before in the last car accident. He had a few cuts and scrapes, but nothing major. "Yeah, Im good, they got me on meds, so I can't really feel nothing." I sighed.

"What the hell were you thinking? Why would you try to drive yoursef home if you had been drinking??"

"I ain't think I was that drunk, I was fine until I got halfway home." I shook my head. "You could have called someone to get you August, you scared Aliyhah have to death, lord knows how she would be acting right now if something serious happened to you." He nodded. "I know, and Im sorry ma, I apologized to Aliyah too." I nodded.

"....Why were you out drinking like that anyways?" He shook his head. "Oh...Craig and I just went out to the bar to blow off some steam, we didn't really have a real reason." I nodded slowly. "But Craig went home early, and you stayed and kept drinking...why?" He opened his mouth to speak, but the sound of the door opening behind me, stopped him.

"You must be Mrs.Alsina." I turned around and smiled at the doctor. "Yes, that's me." He held out his hand for me to shake. "Im Dr. Lee, I've been taken good care of August since he got here about a hour ago." I smiled. "Well thank you..is everything alright with him?" He nodded his head yes.

"Yes, obviously as you can see, he hurt his knee in the accident." I nodded. "Im aware that he's been in a accident before, and he was on crutches for while correct?" I nodded. "Well the good news is, that he didn't do any major damage, but he did fracture his knee again, hince why he's wearing the brace."

I sighed and rubbed my forehead. "He's going to need to take it easy for while, like before, as well as doing some physical therapy." I nodded. "Since this happened before, he should heal relatively fast, but we'll keep track of his process. He's going to need someone to be their for him while his knee is healing as well." I nodded. "Okay, thank you, I got it."

He smiled. "Great. I'll be back with his discharge papers." I nodded and watched him walk out the room. "Damn, I hated that physical therapy shit." He mumbled. "Well you have to do it again." I said in a sigh. "Look, Im gunna go downstairs and make a phone call, and grab Aliyah." He nodded. "Who you calling?"

"Obviously your gunna need help, meaning your gunna have to come home. I can't be around 24/7 to help you, since I work everday. So Im gunna bring in someone to help while Im at work." He frowned. "Someone like who? I can take care of myself." I sighed.

"No you can't. And Im calling Brutus." He paused for a second. "Ight."
