Ivan Martinez is a depressed kid. His parents abuse him and his brother had to act like he hates him too. They move to LA with their younger sister Sunny. Will this be a new beginning for Ivan?
After they finished harassing Ivan we walked into the class. We sat in the back and waited for class to start. A few minutes after we walked in Sunny and Ivan came in. I didn't notice this at first but Ivan is so cute. Wait a second. What am I thinking I have a boyfriend. I can't think of Ivan like that. Especially since they're bullying the poor kid. The worst part is that they can talk shit right in front of his face and he won't understand a thing. They hugged and Sunny walked out. The teacher told him to seat next to us. I could see the fear in his eyes. He slowly made his way over to us. I also noticed he had a necklace and a ring on his finger. I wonder what those are for.
Ivan's POV
*skip to lunch*
These fools have been picking on me all day. It never stops. I mean, I can't say I didn't expect that. I'm sitting outside waiting for Ray and Sunny. They said they were gonna eat lunch with me and help me learn more English. As I was waiting, Chance and friends walked up to me. Jake punched me in the face. I could feel my face bruising.
A(Alissa): What's up bitch?
This time I understood her. I have 2 periods that help me learn English. I kinda understand what people have been saying but only like 50%.

J: How did it get there?
I: I don't have tell you
C: Why not punk?

T: Whoa, the bitch can talk

I: *gets pissed* FUCK YOU! *tears start to fall*
Erika's POV
After that Ivan walked away. I didn't know what to do. I wanted to go and give Ivan a hug but I didn't. When he walked away I could see the hurt in his eyes.
TB: Chad! You made him cry! *laughs*
That's when it hit me. Maybe his dad is abusing him.
E: You idiots! What if his dad really is beating him up?!
AL(Alex): Not our problem
E: You guys are just assholes sometimes
Bell rings
Ivan's POV
I didn't know what to do. I was pissed and sad all at the same time. I went for the bathroom and cried. All of my emotions just came at me like a wave. I cried for a little until the bell rang. I wiped my tears then went to find Sunny and Ray.
*end of the day*
Finally the day is over. I'm walking to the front of the school. Sunny said she would be there with Ray. I looked for Ray's car. I saw him and Sunny making out on the car.
I: *makes retching sound*
They jumped then rolled their eyes. We got in the car and drove to the house. When we pulled up I saw my "parents" with suitcases and Ruben on the stairs. I immediately thought they were kicking me out. Turns out they are going on a business trip.
Ruben's POV
I'm waiting for Sunny and Ivan to get here. Mom and dad are going on a business trip for a week. So that's good. He gets a week of feeling safe at home. Before they left dad said something to Ivan

I knew what he was about to do. He put his fist in the air. I ran to stop him so Sunny didn't have to witness her brother getting abused like I have to. Unfortunately I was too late he already had him unconscious on the ground.
R: *pushes his dad* DETENER! ¿POR QUÉ SIEMPRE TENES QUE ABUSAR A IVAN? ÉL NO HA HECHO NADA PARA TI! (Stop! Why do you always abuse Ivan?! He's done nothing to you)
He chuckled and they got in the car. I picked up Ivan and carried him for the couch in the living room.

Ray went to get ice from the kitchen. Sunny sat in shock. Ray came back with the ice and I put it on his face to keep it from swelling more.
Erika's POV
We were walking down the street when we heard something. We saw Ivan, Ray, and Sunny so we stopped to see what was going on. We didn't understand what they were saying. Next thing we knew, I'm guessing his dad, punched him repeatedly in the face. Then there was more yelling by another boy that looked a little bit like Ivan. His brother, I'm guessing. Their parents got in the car and we heard Ivan's name being yelled.
AL(Alex): I guess you were right Chad. His dad does abuse him
C: Just to ruin his life even more let's keep bullying him
J: I like the way you think Chance
E: Guys don't you think abuse at home is enough for him? He just got knocked out. He probably has to deal with that everyday
C: Come on babe. Don't be soft.
T: *mockingly* Yeah babe
C: Hey! *chases Tony*
My house is a few blocks away from Ivan's so I walked into my house. My mom said to get JC for dinner so I did. After dinner I changed into some comfy clothes and went to bed
