Chance's parents

*2 weeks later*

Ivan's POV

I woke up to Erika shaking me. She was all dressed up and ready for the day. I just groaned and rolled over

E: Ivan, come on, you're getting your cast off today?

I: Oh yeah!

I jumped up and she laughed. It was 10 and we didn't have to leave till 11. I went to get ready while Erika made breakfast. I put on my glasses then walked into the bathroom and undressed. I looked at the cuts and bruises. I smiled knowing I was getting better. I got in the shower and also took my medicine. I put my underwear on then walked to the closet. I put on some dark blue jeans and looked for Emilio hoodie but couldn't find it. I put on my ring and necklace then I called for Erika but she didn't respond. I threw on a shirt then went downstairs. I didn't see Erika so I texted her

Baby face👶: Where is everyone?

Goat🐐: Jc is at a sleepover and Dan is in his room. I went to get cream cheese for your bagels

Baby face👶: Okay, do you know where Emi's hoodie is?

Goat🐐: Check in Dan or Jc's room. It might've gotten mixed in their laundry

I put my phone down then went to Jc's room but it wasn't there. I went to Dan's room next. I knocked on the door then walked into the room

I: Dan?

D: Yes?

I: Have you seen my hoodie?

D: Yes

He went to his closet and pulled out the hoodie. I thanked him then went back downstairs. I grabbed a blanket then cuddled up onto the couch. I laid there until Erika got back. When she came back, she made breakfast. We ate and we watched TV. Her head was on my shoulder and my arm was wrapped around her. We heard a click and looked over. Dan was taking a picture of us

E: *laughs* What are you doing?

D: Yall looked cute

I: *blushes*

D&E: Aw! You're blushing! *look at each other* Jinx! Okay shut up. Fine

I: *laughs* Okay both of you stop

D&E: Sorry

I sighed then laughed again. It was time for us to go so I grabbed my phone then said bye to Dan. I went out to the Tesla where Erika already was. We started driving and we jammed out to music. When we got there, we walked in holding hands and smiling. We sat next to 2 adults and we didn't realize who they were because we were too busy talking

?: Erika? Is that you?

Erika's POV

When I heard that voice, I knew exactly who it was. Chance's parents. Fuck! What do I do? I'll just be nice for a second. Ivan turned around and fear was all over his face

E: Um, hey Mrs. Sutton

Mr.S: How are you?

E: Good

Mr.S: Come talk to me in private

Before I could respond she grabbed my arm the whispered something in her husband's ear. She pulled me around the corner then started talking to me all sweetly. I tried to peak around the corner because I don't trust Chance's dad. I heard Ivan scream and tried to go over to him but she held me so I couldn't move

Ivan's POV

When Erika left I felt really uncomfortable with Chance's dad. He started talking to me rudely then he grabbed my broken wrist aggressively. I screamed loud and tried to get out of his grip. Erika got out of Chance's mom's grip and tackled Chance's dad then pulled me away from him. A doctor came out and tried to calm me down. Security took out Chance's parents and Erika came over to me. I cried into her shirt because of the pain. Everyone looked at the surveillance footage and Chance's dad was taken away by the cops. Afterwards, the doctor took us in

Dr: Sorry about that. What are you guys in here for?

I: I came to get my cast off

Dr: Okay. I will be back with the supplies

The doctor left and came back a few minutes later. I put my arm on the table and held Erika's hand with my other hand. He cut the cast off my cast. It felt good to be able to move my hand. We left then went home. We went up to our room and sat on our beds in silence until

I: Erika?

E: Yes, Ivan?

I: Thank you

E: For?

I: Saving me. If it wasn't for you, I wouldn't be here right now

E: Aw! Your welcome

We hugged for a while. I felt safe and protected. I've never felt this way with a girl. Once we were done, we pulled away and looked at each other. I caught myself leaning in and she was too. The butterflies in my stomach were going crazy and my heart was beating out of my chest. Our lips connected and it felt like a dream. Damn, I just kissed the girl I liked for so long. We had a 5 second kiss then I pulled away

I: I-I'm sorry. It's just that- I like you and I've liked you ever since we met. I didn't mean to kis-

She cut me off by kissing me again after 5 seconds she pulled back

E: I like you too Ivy

I: *nervously* S-so will you b-be my g-girlfriend?

E: Yes, of course

She kissed me again but passionately this time. I couldn't believe it. I was actually happy for the first time in a long time. We got ready for bed then cuddled in my bed. Once she fell asleep I texted Dan

Second son🤪: I did it, we're together😊

Dad that I've never had😎: Good job. I knew you had in you

Second son🤪: Thanks

Dad that I've never had😎: So can I come home now?

Second son🤪: Yeah. I'm going to bed now goodnight

Dad that I've never had😎: Good night

With that I fell asleep with a big smile on my face
