Stark looked out the window. Tommorow the Doomsday clock stops. Ever since he came back it's been a journey of rebirth and rejuvenation but now it feels like everything is hanging by the thread. He looks at Pepper sleeping peacefully on the couch, another day at work yet even when she heard the news that their tommorow could be destroyed she just smiled and kissed him. He's afraid, he's afraid that Morgan has to live in a universe where purple men can just reappear after they died and attack your block anytime. He needed to stop Thanos but apparently now he has a gang and a massive armada of possible billions. They were the Avengers were they able to fight this massive threat this time? He sits down and contemplates till he hears Thanos's voice and looks up to see Thanos (Infinity War look) in front of him and he jumps up.
"Stay calm, I'm not here to kill you yet." He orders as Tony slowly sits down with many emotions going through his face.
Thanos sits down in front of him and chuckles.
"What's so funny Grimace?"
"Quill told you that insult I know. He's quite the feisty son-in-law I'll tell you that." Thanos tries to make small talk.
"Wait this is in my head otherwise Pepper would've been awake and freaking out." Tony realizes.
"How right you are. The power of the stones are truly a gift cause right now it's just you and me talking." Thanos says as he gets up and walks around.
"What do you want?" Tony growls
"An offer." Thanos says as he slowly peels a orange from the table.
"Which is?"
"Surrender. Surrender your planet and a certain human who doesn't belong and I'll guarantee that your planet will prosper."
"And your league of villians?"
"I can simply kill them with a snap of my fingers." He sinisterly grins to Tony as he mockingly snaps his fingers. "You'd best think about your family before you say another word."
Family. He thinks about Pepper and Morgan smiling outside on a beautiful day having a picnic or enjoying talking about ideas in the house. Family. The team who helped each other out in desperate times, who always came back for each other, who laugh, cry, and fight for each other. Everyone was his family.
"They are all my family you bastard and I'll die again before you take over this entire universe!" Tony hatefully says to him.
"Hmm, then I'll make sure that you watch as everyone dies horrifically for your decision Tony." He says before he wakes up to Pepper asking if he was ok.
"Pepper? No I'm fine I'm...not." He sighs as he hugs her tight.
Later Strange arrives at his home seemly confused at the sudden called but then figures it out by his upset expression.
"He contacted you didn't he?"
"Damn right he did. HE KNOWS! HE KNOWS YOUR ENTIRE PLAN OK!?"
"Tony-"
"NO YOU SAID THAT WE WE'RE ABLE TO STOP THIS THREAT! YOU PROMISED! WHAT WAS YOUR PLAN!?!" Tony screams at Strange shocking Pepper and Morgan.
