"How?" Was all that came out. I couldn't break my gaze at him as my breathing got ragged and fast. My voice was tiny and weak and I couldn't put any words together. Shocked and dismayed about this reality. Confused and terrified. I was dying in my skin. He got there. Which means..we're dead. Things wouldn't stop getting worse and I just couldn't hold it anymore. I wanted to crawl in a corner and die. I scanned his handsome face as I waited for an answer. His lips twitched at the side forming a faint smile. For a moment, I was furious.. he has taken the last thing I had. The only thing I had left from my old life.

I could hear Christiana's loud heartbeats and her harsh breathing. I turned to catch a glance of her face, it was scarlet red and her eyes were wide opened with fear. She's done something! She was with him last. Before I could say anything he cleared his throat and I turned back to him.

"Well.. It's a long story and I'm quite busy at the moment so I'll be back in a while. "He started as he called a guard. One I had never seen before, probably his own guard. He adressed him "take them and make them wait in the dungeon till I'm back" with a ridiculous grin he added "and keep an eye on them" turning to leave, my eyes darted at his uniform. The creamy white suite with a green ribbon attached from a shoulder to his waist. Gold pieces attached to the shoulders.
A strong hand gripped my arm and started pulling me forward harshly. I tried to thrash and pull aww but the guard's grip was tight. More guards came. I didn't recognise any of them but they all had dark expressions pasted on their faces.

"Keep your hands off me! "Simon blustered at the guard pushing him almost knocking him down. The guard held both his arms and I could see how his fingers engraved through Simon's flesh as he said through gritted teeth "Not a single word" saying each word loud and clear. He let go of his arms and I noticed the deep red marks he'd left on Simon's arm. Each one tried to break free from the iron  grip of the guards but it was useless. We walked around the castle in a narrow path till we reached a dark staircase downwards. I couldn't see the end of them but I knew they led to the dark filthy dungeons below. Chrisy tried to stop and thrashed as she saw the stairs. Her face filled with horror. The dreadful past ten years passed in front of her eyes as they pushed us down the stairs. The guard's hand pushed hard on m back almost knocking  the breath out of my lungs. I could still hear Chrisy's cries as she begged them to let her go. I craned my neck to spot Phillip and I saw him as the guard held his head downwards almost breaking his neck from the force of his hand. My guard hit my shoulder hard, making me fly forward. We walked down the stairs as the damp air filled my lungs. I could feel the irony in the situation. We reached the ground floor and we walked through dirty tunnels with filthy dark water dripping above us and soaking the floor below us. We reached a dark dungeon and the guard opened the metal door as the keys clinked with each other. The swung us in, letting us fall on the wet floor. The dirty water soaked my clothes as I collapsed on the ground, splashing water around me. The pushed them in one by one as the landed on the wet floor beside me, dousing me with water from every direction. I heard the keys clink as they locked the door. I scanned the dungeon around me. I never  came down there. I never saw how filthy this place was.
Draco as usual was completely silent.

Chrisy crouched in the corner and kept her head on her knees, loud cries cracking her chest as her body trembled with each one. She stayed here for ten years! My heart ached as I watched her shake with fear. Phillip crouched beside me, I waited for him to speak but he said nothing.
I stayed silent but I stole glances at him every minute.

We stayed there for what felt like hours but none of us dared to speak. I stared at the black door when it suddenly swung open and I flinched with surprise. We slowly stood up as the guards waited by the door with manacles. They tied the iron manacles around our wrists. Its cool surface sending chills through my veins. Though we were in chains, they still gripped our arms as the pushed us up the stairs. We walked through a door at the side and it led us directly into the castle. They took us to the ball room where they made us kneel on the ground. The royal chair laid before us, decorated with rubies and crystals. Michael walked in with confidence and all our eyes observed him till he sat on the throne.
