Chapter 6-

After the argument, shiemi fainted.

"Shiemi."

"Shiemi." Her mother called out

"Katriel carry her inside?"

"Why me?" I muttered under my breath

"Because you're stronger than me." Arielle answered me

I picked her up and we walked inside, I put Shiemi in her bed.

"Even Though she looks fine on the outside the demon is draining her energy." Yukio explained to her mother

"If we don't stop it soon, her life may be in danger." I told them as Arielle gave me a pointed look

"What someone had to inform her." I said

"Why is she sleeping out here in the store house?" asked Rin

"It's where her grandmother lived. After her grandmother died she decided she would never leave the Garden again and moved in here." Shiemi's mother explained

"She probably feels guilty. Her Grandmother died when she wasn't in the garden didn't see." Arielle said

"How did you know?"

"The way she carried herself and from what you just told us."I replied

"Her grandmother had trouble with her legs as well."

"That's why your fighting isn't if?" asked Yukio

"Yes." The mother admitted

"I'm no good as a mother, and just as bad as a daughter. Shiemi's been frail ever since she was little so she never went to school.

I was always busy with the store so her grandmother took care of her instead."

"So Shiemi got very attached to her grandmother." Yukio pointed out

"And yet, I always found that so enviable"

"Well, you get what you deserve when even your own child has had enough of you." Rin said

I rolled my eyes at the fact, someone, I was falling for could be so blind at times, All because of an annoying blonde

"It's way too late to try and act like a mother now and start worrying about her."

"That way of thinking is a prime target for a demon to get in. They take advantage of the weaknesses in people's hearts." Yukio told her with a serious look on his face.

Arielle, Ryuk and I decide to let Shiemi and Rin have their moment in the garden. We entered the garden with Yukio.

"Sorry to interrupt you."

"It was just getting  good." Said Ryuk from behind me as I gave him a pointed look

"When did you all get here?" Rin asked

"1 minute and 32 seconds ago," Arielle answered Rin's question

"Our opponent is small fry. We'll deal with it in a blink of an eye."

"You'll soon be able to use your legs again, Shiemi. The rest was just a matter of your heart's resolve," said Arielle

"I do." said Shiemi

"I won't allow it. Your breaking your promise" said the voice of the low class demon

"It's reveal itself."

"I won't let you." hissed the demon as Shiemi scream

Roots shoot out of the ground.

"Arielle at the ready." I said as I pulled out my guns

Arielle nods and unsheaths her sword

"We will live in the garden forever. You will live here until the day you die."

"Oh no it's using her as a sheild." Yukio said

"Well, crap." I said

"I think I am going to need your help with this thing."

"Really," Rin asked

"Yes, as well as you two." He said pointing at us

We tried to just get the demon but if we attacked it we could be hurting shiemi. I may hate that sixteen-year-old brat but not enough to kill her... yet.

"It's too late to save her, we have to take them both out."

"What are you crazy?" asked Rin

"You wouldn't dare shoot the girl."

"He would you underestimate him weed." I hissed at the demon

"Is that how you think? Maybe it is and maybe it isn't." said Yukio with the gun safety off

"Well, it looks like you don't need us." My sister said as we both put our weapons away

" Yukio!" a flaming blue Rin called out

" Well then which one is it?"

You filthy Exorcists! As if you'd shoot! I don't believe it! " yelled the demon plant as Yukio shoot Shiemi

"Go, Rin!" Rin destroys the demon with his sword

Shiemi woke up and she was perfectly fine.

"The roots on your legs are gone you should be able to walk again," Arielle told her as Shiemi's mum come in

"I think we should leave them alone," I said to Arielle and she agreed

We walked out of the garden with the twin brothers.

"So what kind of bullet did you shoot her with anyway?"

"Plant vitamins," answered Yukio

"Really."

"It stings for a bit but that's all," Yukio explained

"Well, I think it's time for us to go to bed."

"I am right behind you," said Rin to me as we started to make our way back to the door.
