I was hot. Well, yeah I am but I meant temperature wise. Air violently flowed through my hair. My hazel brown eyes peeled open to see Ryuk laying down as if he was a french model about to get his portrait done. Arielle was tumbling in the air. I looked down to see the earth and we were coming closer and closer to it. Was this how we're going to die? All because a shinigami didn't know how to travel through space and time.
"Ryuk, what the fuck." I yelled
He looked at me with amusement in his clown-like face.
"Good one of you are awake I was starting to get bored," said Ryuk as he snapped his fingers again and I found myself face-planting into the ground as Ryuk had an unconscious Arielle in his arms as he floated a foot off the ground.
I groaned in pain. "Stupid Shinigami."
"Watch your mouth kid, I am a God death."
"Who doesn't have their Death note." I pointed out as Ryuk then went on to grumble
"That's because your old man is still mad at me for the last time I gave my notebook to a human. I am sure he will get over it in a few decades."
"Why did you even do that Ryuk?" I asked him wanting to know the meaning to why we have been transported to wherever we are.
"I hate repeating myself so I will tell you as soon as your sister wakes up."
"I'll get her up." I said as I slapped her and her grey eyes opened looking at me with fury.
"What the fuck Katriel." She growled as she picked up her sword ready to try and decapitate me.
"I am sorry but I need you awake, now Ryuk what was the meaning of transporting us out here?" I asked as I pointing to the trees around us
Ryuk laughed.
"This is not funny." grumbled Arielle from Ryuk's arms as he dropped her
"Rude."
"Sorry but your old man has a really weird sense of humour," Ryuk said
"Your old man from the Shinigami world noticed you constantly fighting. He decided that you would not be given the option to return home until you both put your differences aside and stop trying to shoot, stab or hurt each other. He sent you to an Earth you both knew." Ryuk said as he snapped his fingers and made two black duffle bags appear.
"So shall we get this show on the road?" Asked Ryuk in a teasing manner
"What do you mean a different Earth?" I Asked Ryuk
He let out a chuckle, "Hyuk, Hyuk, Hyuk. Katriel you studied this in science for a term and your now telling me your having trouble believing in the multiverses?"
"I thought it was just a theory."
"Most humans confuse reality with fantasy anyway." Ryuk said as he grabbed an apple from a nearby tree
"What did you mean Ryuk when you said, ' He sent you to an Earth you both knew'?" asked Arielle
"The show had to mention religion of some kind in order for me to travel with you but your old man found one you both enjoyed and believed you were up to the challenge to help this story have a better ending."
"That doesn't answer where we are." I deadpanned to Ryuk who laughed at us before throwing uniforms at us
"Get changed into these and I will show you." Ryuk to us
"Think we can trust him?" Arielle asked me
I shrugged, "It's Ryuk he would sell his own mother for a box of apples."
"Hey I can still hear you, you know." Ryuk grumbled throwing a small rock at my head.
"Ow." I groaned
"Get dress you Royal Prat before I kill you." Ryuk said as he flew to a nearby apple tree.
I muttered under my breath a few swear words before I changed into the school uniform. It looked familiar but I couldn't quite place where I had seen this formal black uniform before I put it on. I put my guns in their holsters. I watched as my sister put Raion (sword) on her back.
"Let the show began," said Ryuk as he flew ahead of us and lead the way
"Let me guess we are going to school," I said as shifted the duffle bag to my right shoulder
"That would be correct."
"A boarding school?" asked Arielle
"Also correct."
We exited the forested area to see something that should have been impossible but then again so was the existence of Shinigami.
"What are these things? Arielle asked poking the weird flying things in the air
"Those are Koks." he said
Arielle's eyes widened.
"What?" I asked her
"These are low-class demons from Blue Exorcist" Arielle informed me
My eyes widened upon hearing that, "We're in Ao no Exorcist?"
"That's what I said, dumbass." My sister groaned at me
I looked up to the sky and said, "Hey dad we learnt our lesson, can we go home yet?"
"Hyuk, Hyuk, Hyuk. I don't work like that Katriel."
"Shove an apple in it Ryuk." Grumbled at him
"It was a long shot at best." Sighed Arielle
"So where to Ryuk?" I asked him
"True cross academy, of course." Ryuk chuckled
"Of course," I grumbled
"We better start walking if we want to make it there before sundown."
"Ryuk if and when I become King of the Shinigami world you will be the first to go." I muttered as we started walking
This was going to be one long walk.
