Katriel Pov:

I woke up to see Arielle sleeping on the floor next to my bed.

"Arielle what the fuck are you doing?" I asked her

"Shut up Katriel, I am sleeping."

"I noticed but why on the floor?" I asked her

Suddenly her eyes widened in her sleepy state.

"Great your wake, Ryuk said he would he would finally explain everything."

"Hyuk, Hyuk, Hyuk." Ryuk chuckled as he downed an apple.

"It's quite a long tale."

"Get on with it." I grumbled still feeling weak from the events of earlier that day.

"Human's so inpatient,"

We gave him a death glare.

"Fine, thousands of years ago lived the God of death known as Yama. He ruled over the shinigami world and Mu with justice. He had a sister named Yami who was the goddess of death. They ruled over the shinigami world bring light to the darkness. They had powers different from most Shinigami. Yama had the power of raging red flames while Yami gained to the power of grief and could control the tears of the other Gods. One day a Shinigami known as Reaper killed them letting darkness rain over the Shinigami world once again. With Yama dying breaths he said "I will return and reclaim the land given to us by our father'. I have been waiting four thousand years for when Yama and Yami would be reborn and after today's events I can say there is no doubt in my mind that you Katriel 'Matthew' Lawliet and Arielle 'Erza' Lawliet are indeed the reincarnations of Yama and Yami."

"That's a fucking lot to take in. Why didn't you tell us in the first place?" I asked

"Would have you believed me?" Ryuk questioned me

"Stupid Shinigami." I muttered.

"So how do I control my flames?" I Asked

"When do I get my powers?" Asked Arielle

"Controlling your flames comes with controlling your emotions, the more you practice the easier it will become. As for your powers they will come when you realise what matters most to you."

"You're not going to tell us anymore are you?" I Asked as Ryuk laughed

"Nope."

"Great, well I am going back to bed." I Said as I pulled my covers over my body

"We have class tomorrow." Arielle reminded me as I groaned

"How do I explain my flaming out."

"What would I say, 'You know yesterday. Yeah turns out I am a reincarnated god/king of death, please don't kill me?'

"Yeah, no say summoned Ryuk and he killed the Leapers."

"Actually that's not a bad idea. They don't know how a Shinigami kills." I said as drifted into a dreamless sleep

It was lunchtime and Arielle and I got to the cafeteria early and grabbed four yakisoba buns Knowing Yukio and Rin wanted one and then one each for ourselves. I saw Rin and he was about to try and get the last one.

"Hey, Rin, I saved you lunch."

Suddenly Rin hugged me as I showed him the Yakisoba bun.

"Your amazing Katriel."

I blushed a dark shade of red.

Arielle Pov:
