Arielle Pov:
Tears fell from my eyes as I held my crying niece in my arms. Nadia. I am sorry I couldn't save him. I am sorry you will never know one of your parents. Katriel you idiot why didn't you just listen to the stupid Shinigami.
"It's okay Nadia, your Aunt Arielle will look after you...."
"And so will the rest of your familiar." said a voice from behind us
I turned around to see my father Zens Delamort King of the Shinigami world. He looked down at the body of his now dead son and waved his hand.The body disappeared. Suddenly next to Yuri (Yukio and Rin's mother) grave popped another head stone out of the ground with the name Katriel Delamort Lawliet carved onto.
"He was always as stubborn as me." My father said in a bitter tone
"My darling daughter I will give you the option to return home but your father has agreed to let you stay here if your heart so desires."
"How dare you walk into my life now, after everything. After sending us here knowing we would get attached, as much as I love my dad. I can't leave the brothers alone to raise a child by themselves. I hate you. You knew the dangers yet here we are, over another grave of someone I love." I growled at him
"I was not the cause of your brother's death. I loved both of you."
"Then why send us here?" I yelled at him
"Because if I didn't you would have ended up killing each other." boomed my father's voice
"Leave." I told my father in a hash voice
"This is only the beginning Arielle even with your God powers you can't stop what the fates have planned for Nadia. In fact I can hear them weaving her fate as we speak." My father said as he disappear
That man. He was nothing like the father I remembered from ten years ago. That man was a monster. He has changed. He is now cold and evil. That man was no longer my father he was the King of the Shinigami world.
Ryuk was quiet for the longest time before he growled, "Damn that Royal Prat for making me feel. Damn him for dying on us like that."
"Ryuk when I die, promise me something."
"And What would that be princess?" Ryuk Asked me
"Promise me that you will watch over Nadia."
"I don't..." Ryuk was cut off by me
"Promise me, please." I begged him
"Fine, I promise to look after the Royal Pratt's kid."
"Thank you."
Suddenly Rin and Yukio came running into the cave.
"Where's Katriel?" Asked Rin in a panic before his eyes filled with tears as he read the stone next to his mother's.
"He said three words before he passed." I Said with my eyes staring at the ground
"Nadia 'Shiro' Okumura." I told Rin who was on his knees in front of Katriel's grave.
"Was he in pain?"
"At first but he did not feel pain when he passed." I told him
"It figured he would name our daughter that... Hope. Nadia means hope. She will be my hope." Rin Said suddenly the child hiccuped and burst into purple flames.
They were beautiful. She was a mixture of her two fathers powers.
"Let's go home." Yukio Said and that is what we did.
Ryuk took one last look at Katriel's grave and said, "I am going to miss you, you Royal Prat."
