Eddie Brocks Office
Eddies office is covered wall to wall with his most impressive stories including but not limited to, Carlton Drake Exposed, Cletus Kassidy Threatens Rement, and Metro Killer Caught! Evidence Provided by Eddie Brock. Eddie is filling out some leftover paperwork for J. Johna Jamason when Y/n walks into his office.
Y/n: Hey Eddie.
Eddie: Oh Y/n come on in.
Y/n walks in and sits on the opposite side of his desk.
Eddie: Did you get the pictures for the follow-up story on the Metro Killer,
Y/n: Uh, yeah right here.
He hands him an envelope, full of pictures of the suspect being interrogated, Eddie takes the envelope and looks over them very impressed.
Eddie: Excellent work L/n.
Y/n: *Troubled* Thanks.
Eddie: You ok L/n you seemed troubled.
Y/n: It's about Mike.
Eddie: The Metro Killer?
Y/n: Yeah he kept saying that he didn't do it, he was crying about it.
Eddie: Yeah all criminals say that they didn't do it when they're arrested.
Y/n: Yeah but I don't think he did it, he seemed genuinely scared, and the evidence doesn't add up.
Eddie: L/n, he is the guy I was following this case for weeks and it led to Mike Jorge house where we found traces of the concrete that they used in the old Vale Metro Tunnels all over his carpet.
Y/n: I know but, I just have a feeling that he didn't do it.
Eddie: I know that feeling L/n, but the evidence doesn't lie, it's best you accept that sooner rather in latter.
Y/n: *Sigh* Yeah alright.
J.J Jameson: L/N!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Y/n: Oh no, I gotta go.
Eddie: Good luck Y/n.
He smiles and exits his office, leaving Eddie to deal with his paperwork.
Two Days Latter
Eddie is once again in his office on the phone with his future wife.
Eddie: Yeah.....OK....that sounds great.
*knock* *knock*
Eddie: I got to go Love you, Anne. *beep* come in.
VNN Employee: Mr. Brock Jameson wants to speak to you.
He nods and goes to Jameson's office who is sitting at his desk being unusually quiet.
Jameson: Sit down Brock.
He nods confused and sits down on the chair opposite of Jameson.
Eddie: You wanted to see me, sir?
Jameson: Have you seen the Vox News TV report this morning.
Eddie: *Confused* No?
Jameson: I figured you didn't but I want you to take a look at it.
He grabs a remote and presses the play button starting the recorded footage on the TV behind Brock.
