Ch. 19 Nature vs. Nurture Pt. 2

3rd Pov

Ren, Pyrrha, and Nora are frozen in fear of what they are looking that, as well as what he did.

Nora: RUBY WHAT THE HELL IS THAT THING AND WHAT DID IT JUST DO TO Y/N!?!?!?!?

Ruby: It's a Grimm, and I don't know!

Venom: We am no Grimm, WE are Venom, and I consumed your friend for his strength and memories.

Nora: OH shit the Grimm is talking, why is it talking, actually no HOW is the Grimm talking!?

He turns his attention to Nora

Venom: Nora Valkyrie, the bastard daughter that nobody wanted.

Nora: *Shocked* Wha...how...

Venom: Strength is not the only thing I get when we absorb someone, we gain their memories as well, human and Grimm alike. Including the Grimm that destroyed this village.

Ren: The Nuckelavee!?

Venom: Yes, it's embarrassing that you're family died by the hand of that simple-minded idiot.

Ren was starting to lose his cool

Ruby: Don't listen to his he is just trying to make you lose your cool!

He then turns his attention to Ruby.

Venom: Do you want to be next Ms. Rose?

Ruby: *Scared* M...me next...why...why would I be next?

Before Venom could get a response Pyrrha throughs her shield at Venom's head, causing him momentary confusion, as Pyrrha rushes at him with her spear drawn and jams it into his tendon in his right foot, but this just makes him mad as he just groans and sucker-punches Pyrrha into a wall.  This was enough to get Ren and Nora mad, as they charged at Venom with reckless abandon.

Nora: AHHHHH!!

Ruby: NO WAIT!

Nora jumps and tried to smash him with her hammer, but he blocks it with his right arm and headbutts her into the same wall Pyrrha was smashed through, then Ren fires bullets from his weapons but Venom creates a shield that bounces the bullets right off. As he has attention on Ren, Ruby shoots a fire dust bullet at his back because it seemed to hurt him quite a bit last time, but as it hits the creature it is obvious that it does not have the same effect as it only takes a little piece of him, and the symbiote repairs itself much faster than last time.  Venom then takes hold of Ren and throws him straight at Ruby causing them to fly several feet and crash into a watermelon cart.  As they get up and shake it off, Pyrrha and Nora stumble out of the walls they were smashed in.  Due to them being on different sides of the city, Pyrrha gives Ruby a call.

Pyrrha: *In Pain* Ruby do you have any ideas!?

Ruby: *In Pain* Just one we each attack him on all sides, there is no way he can beat all of us at once.

Pyrrha: *In Pain* Alright let's do it.

Nora and Pyrrha take a stance in front of Venom, while Ruby and Ren got ready to attack him from the back.  However, Venom did not look concerned he instead looked like someone who has a secret and they just can't wait to share it.  Ruby nods to Pyrrha, who nods to Nora who Nods to Ren. Then in a split second they all dash foward at Venom, but to surprise and horror, Venom just forms another face from the back of his head and two arms from the back of his torso.  It looked as if two Venoms melted together, and there was one for each of the duos. This was a great concern for Team R.R.N.N as now Venom can concentrate on both sides attacking him.  As both teams reaching him they start attacking but Venom is matching the four of them blow for blow. For every hit they get on the gooey monstrosity hits them back twice as hard.  Pyrrha tries to cut his arms off but another takes its place just as quickly and webs Pyrrha's arms and legs to try and slow down. Nora keeps smashing endless tendrils that are trying to attack her with her hammer, but Venom was only using this as a distraction as he grabs her legs and smashes her into a wall and then tries to smash her into Pyrrha, but she manages to duck before Nora hist her but the swing still manages to slam Nora into a lamp post breaking a few ribs.  Venom lets her go as Nora hits the floor huddles into a ball as she puts her arms around her chest in pain.
