Forbidden

My eyes flew open and I gasped. Why would I dream that? I felt strong arms tighten around me. I took my hand and started tracing along his arms.

"Good morning Princess," Caleb said as I turned my body around to face him.

"Hey handsome," I giggled.

"How'd you sleep?"

I hesitated.

"Maddie, what's wrong?" He looked concerned.

I started to crawl out of the bed. "So, what are we doing today?"

"You're not going to change the subject that easily," he laughed. "But if you don't want to talk then fine. I guess that I'll just cancel all of our plans for today."

"Oh no you don't," I said then straddled him. "We're going to do whatever you have planned today. It was just a dream, that's all Caleb."

"Oh fine," he started to lean in.

"Breakfast?"

He scoffed, "So I can't even kiss my girlfriend good morning?"

"Do you want to smell my stinky morning breath?"

He laughed.

"I didn't think so." I jumped off of the bed, grabbed some clothes and ran to the bathroom.

Caleb P.O.V.

After I was done getting ready I went into the kitchen and sat down. Emily was sitting on the couch with Zack, and the rest of the family was either in their rooms or had already left for the day.

"Geez Zack," I said. "Even when we move states away from you, you still end up on the couch."

He laughed, "I'm always going to be on your couch."

I chuckled. "Anyways, Em, can I borrow your car?"

"Oh hell no. You're not taking my baby anywhere."

"But Em," I looked behind me to make sure Maddie wasn't there. "I'm trying to surprise Maddie and be romantic."

"Oo! What do you have planned," Zack asked.

"Well, I want to take her out to lunch where I'll surprise her with a present. Then, I want to take her out shopping and then take her on a boat ride to the tip of the island and watch the sun go down."

"Awh, my baby brother's growing up," Emily cooed.

"So can I borrow it?"

"What do you think?"

"Yes?"

She started dying laughing. "How about no. As sweet as that all is, I'm still driving."

I started whining then stomped my way over to the fridge and started to fix myself a glass of water. I probably should have actually made myself some food considering the fact that I won't be eating that much for lunch.

I turned around and started heading back for the living room when I saw her. She looked absolutely stunning. She had on a pink crop top with a silver charm bracelet, black shorts and black flip-flops. She had her hair up in a bun with a tight braid on the side.

"You look amazing," I said while putting my arms around her waist.

"Just something I threw together," she laughed. "So, where are we going?"

"Yeah, Caleb. Where," Emily asked.

"Well, I don't know about the two of you, but I'm getting a little hungry."
