December 15 - 30, 2013

On Wednesday, the 18th, Tyler sent me home. He decided that it would be in my best interest to have me go home because if I stayed there, there was a good chance I would continue to do drugs without anyone noticing.

Leaving Kylie was hard. We both cried. I wish I could just take her with me, but Maddie couldn't know that she existed. I promised her I would talk to her every day.

When I got home, I spent the first 5 days alone, locked in my room. I didn't want to speak to anyone. I FaceTimed Kylie every day and it was nice, having her listen to me. I swear I fell in love with her more every day.

Maddie didn't know I was home. I thought it was kind of cute that she came over every day and hung out with my family and from what I could tell, they treated her like she was a part of the family. On the 23rd, Chase accidentally let it slip that I was home. That day, was one of the worst days of my life. That's the day Kylie and Maddie found out about each other.

Maddie P.O.V.

"He's what," I asked as we sat in the living room.

"Yeah, he came home a couple of days ago. He said things were pretty rough up there and he won't talk to any of us," Chase said.

"I'll be back," I said then ran up the stairs and through his door.

He was FaceTiming a pretty girl. I stood there for a minute and listened.

"I promise I'm doing better now. I just couldn't be near the drugs anymore," Caleb said.

"I know baby, I hope you can come back soon," the girl on his phone said.

"I know babe. I'm going to try," he said.

"Babe," I screamed. "You're cheating on me, with her! How could you?!"

"Caleb! Is this why you wanted to go home so badly," the girl yelled.

"Listen I can explain! Technically Maddie and I were broken up so I had every right to be with Kylie," he said.

"But I didn't agree! I said no," I cried.

"Caleb, we're over. It sounds like you were still with her and I don't fuck with cheaters," the girl said with a couple of tears and then hung up.

"Princess, I can explain," Caleb said walking over to me.

"You cheated on me," I scream cried. I started to walk away from him.

"I didn't cheat on you, Princess. We weren't even together when it happened. But now things are over between me and her so we can be together again," he said grabbing my arm to turn me around.

I slapped him. "You moved on so quickly. I'm done, Caleb David. Leave me alone." I ran out of the house as fast as I could. I made it about halfway down the street before I just collapsed on the ground knowing I didn't have a way to get home. I sat there and sobbed.

"Maddie, what's wrong? What happened," a voice asked me. I looked up and through my tears, I could see that it was Chase.

"He... cheated... on... me," I said between cries.

"My brother can be a jerk sometimes. Do you want me to take you home," he asked while helping me to my feet.

"If you don't mind listening to me cry," I said trying to let out a little chuckle but instead more tears came out.

He laughed. "I don't mind, let's go."

We got into his car and the first thing I did was look into the mirror. I had mascara running down my now red puffy face.

"I'm such an ugly crier," I said.

"Then stop crying, Maddie."

I hit his arm. "Okay, rude. Next time you're going through a heartbreak I'll tell that to you."

"But see, you're not crying anymore."

"Because you annoy me," I scoffed.

"These next 30 minutes I'm going to have you laughing harder than you ever have before. Just watch," he said.

We spent the next 30 minutes doing exactly that, laughing. Caleb kept trying to call me so I just blocked him and at one point Chase had to call their dad to make sure he knew what happened and why Chase wasn't there anymore. After we arrived at my house I went inside to mine and Olivia's room and just broke down on the bed. Apparently, she was already napping on the top bunk so she got on mine and I explained everything to her. Then, before calling Caleb to tell him off in front of me, she let me sob in her arms for a good 30 minutes while Bryan rushed over to our place with breakup ice cream and a movie to cure me even though he didn't understand why I was still attached to that boy considering what happened between him and I while Caleb wasn't here.
