"I want everyone in this house in the living room now," dad screamed jolting me awake. I rolled over and look at Caleb.

"What time is it," I asked.

"It's only 5 am."

"Then why would," I started to say before he cut me off.

"It's vacation and 5 am, I'm not going to question it," he said before starting to get up. "Let's just go see what this is about."

"Babe, aren't you going to put a shirt on," I chuckled.

"No, because my abs are a blessing to this family."

I laughed and we walked together into the living room. Dad was pacing back and forth looking extremely pissed while mom, who looked equally as pissed, cuddled with Emma on the couch. Emily and Chase were sitting with their backs against the couch on the floor so Caleb and I sat on the couch next to mom.

"Does anyone care to tell me why in the hell my house is trashed," dad spat.

"It's what," Chase asked.

"I woke up this morning with a call from our security company saying that someone tried to break into the house so I told them to send the police and guess what they found? The entire backyard looked like someone had a wild party, there's food everywhere, spray paint all over the sides of the house and the pool is drained. Anyone care to explain why that is?"

Everyone just looked at each other. "I'm sorry dad, but I don't think any of us knows," Chase said.

"How could we even know when we were all down here sleeping," Emily asked.

"I don't know, but I better not find out that it had anything to do with any of you kids. Do you all understand," dad asked.

"Yes," Caleb, Chase, Emily and I all said in unison.

"Pack your bags, we're all going home. End of discussion," dad said.

Everyone stood up and made their way back into the hallway.

"Go ahead and start packing Princess, I'll be in there in a minute," Caleb said then turned to his siblings. "Bathroom meeting now."

Caleb P.O.V.

"You don't have anything to do with this do you," Emily asked.

"No! Of course not! How could I," I said looking back and forth between Chase and Emily.

"I swear, Caleb if you ruin this family for us you will no longer have a family. Just think of Emma. All she knows is the Holdens, how would it feel if we had to rip her away from that and have her rely on us? We can't raise her," Chase said.

"I swear guys, I didn't do anything."

"Any calls from Tyler lately," she asked.

"Yes," I said.

"And," she asked.

"Apparently Josh wants to send me to North Dakota because Maddie is distracting me, but we all know that can't happen."

"Caleb this was a freaking warning! You need to get rid of her and get your head back in the hang," Chase said.

"I'm sorry that they ended up recruiting you but you know Tyler is going to protect you as long as he can but if you go up there? He can do his best but we all know you'll never come home," Emily said.

"I don't want to be the leader," I whined.

"If you go up there we can't help you anymore! We've done everything we can for you, heck we even tried to keep the gang away from you but you just had to befriend Josh. You're on your own," Chase said.

He was right. This was my mess and whatever's coming for me is my own fault. I'm on my own now which means I have to do everything in my power to not become the next leader, even if that's what Tyler has been pushing me to do in my own time since the beginning.
