There was a knock on the door. Caleb got up to go answer it while everyone else continued to eat the breakfast casseroles mom had made.

"Hey, Lily! Come on in."

"Hey, guys," Lily said as she made her way over to us. "I hope you don't mind that I'm stopping by."

Emily jumped up and gave her a hug. "Heck no we don't mind girly! What's going on?"

"Well, I'm throwing a party tonight and I wanted to know if you and Maddie wanted to come and help me set up? I promise that there will be a bunch of people from my school that you know there Emily."

"What do you say, Maddie? Shall we get our party on," Emily asked excitedly.

"Let's do this," I said with a grin on my face.

After finishing breakfast, Emily and I went over to Lily's house. Her house wasn't too big, just your average middle-class home with a big backyard. It took us 2 hours to get the place decorated. There were streamers, balloons, speakers and catered food from Shrimp Basket.

After people had started showing up, there were at least 50 people there. It was a big party but that was okay because everyone was having fun. Between all of the food and dancing, it was hard to keep track of time. Eventually, it ended up being midnight and there were at least 15 people around the house either passed out or having quiet conversations. I went searching for Emily, but I couldn't find her.
"Has anyone seen Emily," I asked a room full of 5 awake people.

"I think she might be in the spare room," one of the men said.

"Thank you." I turned around and walked towards the spare room. I opened the door slightly to see Emily and Travis snuggled up on the couch. I didn't want to disturb their time together since that don't get to see each other that often anymore. I walked back out of the room and made my way to an empty spot on their living room couch. I grabbed a nearby blanket and wrapped myself up in it before slowly falling asleep.
