Y/n pov
It had been a few days singe the Agni kai and Zuko had started to be nice to me. Yeah it surprised me. Considering I'm the one he needs to capture to change his whole life.

It started the night after the Agni kai when he came to my room.
"Glad I won the duel, I could tell you were too."

I was surprised he came to talk to me at first but let it slide, "Are you just saying that because I'm your prisoner?"

He looked up, "No. Well yeah. But it's also nice having you around. My uncle can serve you tea instead of me."

"Your uncle is pretty nice."

"Yeah, I guess he is."

We were silent for a while until he said good night and left.

Currently I was sitting at the breakfast table when Zuko's voice interrupted my thoughts, "The Airbender is on Kyoshi!?"

I assumed he was talking about Aang since he was the last airbender alive.

"Set course for Kyoshi Island"

Then a crew member of the ship asked the same question I wanted to know myself, "Why do you want to go after the airbender when you already have the Avatar?"

"I'm sure my father wouldn't mind getting to take out the very last of the Air Nomads."

Perfect, he's giving me the opportunity to escape.

3 hours later

We arrived at Kyoshi Island when I was the laying Pai Sho with Iroh. Zuko came up to us.

"Sorry Y/n but you're going to have to go to your cell when I get your airbending friend."

"But she was just in the middle of a game of Pai Sho with me."

"I don't care about your stupid board game!"

I got up and let Zuko lead me to my cell. I already had my escape plan ready. Zuko put me in the cell and locked it closed.

"Can I get two guards here watching the Avatar!"

Two guards immediately came and told him they'd make sure I didn't escape.

He then looked through the cell bars at me, "Once I get back and we set sail again till get to continue that game with my uncle." He said coldly.

I waited until 10 minutes after he left before I put my plan into action, "Can one of you get me water, I'm thirsty."

One of the guards started walking away when the other grabbed his shoulder, "She's a waterbender remember. She could attack us."

"Well the Fire Lord wants her alive so we have to do something, tie her hands and feet."

The guard did as told as they brought me some water. I had started drinking the water until there was little left. I then put that water in my mouth too but didn't swallow. With a very light flick of my hand that I could barely make, I froze the water so I was able to talk.

"Thank you very much."

One guard went to untie my hands when the other took the water cup off to the kitchen.

I waited until the guard was looking away before I took the ice out of my mouth and melted it. I was able to use the water to make small cuts all over the bars to my cell without the guards noticing. Eventually when I had cut them enough, I kicked the cell's bars down and attacked the guards. I spotted some of their water off to the side and used that water as well.

A few minutes later their feet were frozen to the ground and their hands frozen behind their back. I managed to escape without anyone else seeing me.

When I got to the island I noticed Sokka behind a house wearing a dress and makeup with a girl. The girl kissed his cheek and ran off. I then walked over to a blushing Sokka.

"So you got a girlfriend now?"

He looked surprised to see me standing there, "Y/n! We thought you were dead! Well I did... How did you escape Angry Ponytail guy?"

"I have a few tricks up my sleeve."

"So are you going to help us attack him?"

"I'd like it to be a surprise when he finds out I escaped. But I don't plan on seeing his reaction so not this time."

I saw Sokka's new girlfriend and a bunch of other girls fighting Zuko. I then saw Aang, Katara and Sokka join them. Zuko kept blasting fire causing all the houses to start burning down.

I tried touting out some fires but also wanted to be discreet at the same time. Eventually I saw them all running towards Appa and I joined.

Katara and Aang were surprised when I met them on Appa's saddle. None of us wanted to leave but decided it was for the better.

We started to fly away on Appa when I spoke, "It doesn't feel right, to just let these people suffer."

Aang sighed, "You're right." And with that he jumped off Appa.

Me and the two siblings looked over the edge of Appa's saddle to see Aang plunge into the water.

Sokka spoke up, "Well goodbye last airbender of this world." His voice cracked and he leaned back.

Katara pointed, "No wait, what is that?"

I looked and saw a shadow under the water. Seddenly a huge sea creature popped out and Aang was on its head. He pulled the whisker like things on its head causing it to spray water over the island.

I could just barely make out Zuko's frustrated face as he got soaked.

Aang came to fly back, "I would've let Y/n do it but she wouldn't have been able to fly back up." We all laughed.
