We had stopped at a town by the water for food. I had told the group about my meeting with Roku and how I had to learn the elements by summer.

Aang said we should start with my airbending training. He was shocked I airbended at the temple and to be honest, I was too.

Katara wanted to practice water bending while we did airbending so we found what Sokka called a "puddle" which happened to be a waterfall.

Then the supplies went down the river and now we're here, in a strange town with a bunch of shops.

"Okay we need to spend our money carefully, we only have three copper pieces." Sokka said strategically.

"Make that two." Aang pulled out a bison whistle. "I couldn't help myself."

He proceeded to blow the whistle and it made no sound whatsoever.

Katara took the money from Aang, "No offense but I think I should hold the money for now."

We continued walking around and some guy came up to us, "You guys look like travelers, can I interest you in anything?" He pointed to a ship which I assumed to be his shop.

We refused but then decided to check it out after finding nothing elsewhere.

Katara was poking around somewhere and she said, "Guys look! It's a water bending scroll. I could use this to practice my water bending."

The shop owner came over and took the scroll from Katara, "I got this up north for a reasonable price, free."

I saw Katara glare at the man.

Sokka finished looking around, "Wait, you guys are on a ship, have weird parrot lizards, you must be pirates!"

"I guess you could say that."

Aang then spoke, "How much for the water bending scroll?"

"200 gold."

Aang remained positive despite the situation, "Katara give me the money, pirates love gambling, and I know just how to do it right."

She handed over the two coins we had.

"How about for the price of... one copper piece?"

The pirate laughed at Aang. "Haha no way, I could be getting 200 gold."

"Then how about... two copper pieces!"

"Kid, it's not funny the second time."

Katara came up behind us, "Let's go, this place gives me the creeps."

Sokka sighed in disappointment, "I was just getting interested."

We were making our way back to the campsite when the pirates started chasing us.

"Look who's finally come to their senses."

Katara tensed, "Aang, I don't think they're here to gamble, run!"

We all ran and split up, which wasn't a good idea.

I happened to be the only one out of the four who wasn't being chased. But I quickly ran into other trouble.

"Uncle, what's all this junk?"

The first thoughts crossing my mind were, he's okay, he's not dead. But then I remembered the trouble I was in and I pulled the hood of my black cloak up.

"Excuse me, but do you know where I can get a white lotus tile around here?" The uncle asked me.

Oh no I can't blow my cover. Zuko is literally right there.
