Jinyoung didn't know how he ended up sleeping. He definitely stayed up for hours after kissing Mark just thinking about it. Reliving it. Wishing to do it again.

And he thought about it long and hard, doing it again. Ultimately he decided that it was a bad idea, since doing it the first time was a bad idea. But he'd be a damn liar if he said he didn't want to do it again.

He eventually fell asleep though, waking up to the sunlight shining through his room, illuminating everything in a yellowish-orange haze. He refused to look at Mark though. He kept his body turned away towards the wall since the last thing he wanted to see was Mark's possibly unhappy expression. He really didn't want Mark to be angry about what happened. But he couldn't blame him if he was.

Jinyoung nearly jumped out of his skin when he eventually felt the mattress move and dip next to him. He kept himself completely quiet and still, waiting for Mark to get up and leave or yell at him or whatever, he just wanted to get it over with.

"Jinyoung? You awake?" Mark called softly, his fragile voice making Jinyoung melt.

Jinyoung hesitated with the response. More so because he had to pull himself back together after hearing that soft call of his name. He ended up just humming out a "Hmm?"

Mark let out a little sigh. "I had a crazy dream."

Now Jinyoung slowly turned over, his eyes immediately meeting Mark's dark chocolate ones. A chill ran down his spine with the intense eye contact, literally just Mark's eyes had an effect on him. Jinyoung was surprised though, Mark wasn't yelling at him. Or angry. Maybe he forgot about the kiss? Or maybe he was just half asleep, too tired to remember it. Jinyoung wasn't sure.

"What about?" Jinyoung asked, deciding to focus on a different subject rather than drive himself crazy with guilt over the kiss.

Mark chuckled lightly. "You won't believe it, trust me. It's one of those weird dreams that you have and try to ignore."

"Well what was it then?" Jinyoung repeated.

Mark shook his head. "Not important."

"Mark." Jinyoung called firmly. "Don't leave me in suspense."

"It's that important to you?" Mark asked.

Jinyoung shrugged. "Um... well, no. But I'm just... curious. Maybe it'll help me find inspiration for my next post."

Mark's head shook yet again. "It won't trust me... but promise you won't be weird after I tell you."

"Okay. I promise." Jinyoung affirmed with a curt nod.

Mark looked away, his eyes wandering the room. Jinyoung didn't know if he was hesitating or rethinking what to say, but he was sure making this dream out to be something pretty significant. Jinyoung was sure it was probably just a dream where Mark thought it meant something but in reality it doesn't mean anything at all. Mark was the type of guy to take his dreams to heart, and Jinyoung often helped try to explain why he may have had a certain dream on a certain night. It often wasn't anything major though, usually just little struggles or events that happen in Mark's life representing itself in a weird dream.

Though Jinyoung really wasn't prepared for what this dream was about, and he felt his heart leap out of his chest when Mark finally spit it out.

"I dreamt that I kissed you."

Jinyoung blinked. His wide eyes gazed at Mark who drew his own eyes elsewhere. He took a quick glance at Jinyoung, taking in his shocked expression before letting out a nervous sounding chuckle and getting up off the bed.

"See? I told you it was weird." Then by the sound of the bedroom door closing, Mark was gone.

A few moments later, Jinyoung heard the shower turn on, while he was left there on his bed, speechless.
