Part five || california dreaming

The next morning bill looked down at sleeping phoebe and sighed wondering how lucky he was to have her as his fiancé. Rolling over and slowly getting out of bed he watched as Phoebe snuggle closer into the pillows.

Downstairs, Molly was making breakfast and as bill walked into the kitchen he quietly said "she said yes" moly turned around barely hearing him but ran up to him giving him a huge hug.

As Phoebe walked down the stairs she was bombarded by a death grip hug from Mrs. Weasley, and brought over to the table mrs. Weasley started ranting about the wedding that was to come.
" so, what style dress do you want?" Mrs. Weasley questioned.
"I want a red one! I've always wanted something non-traditional for a wedding dress." Phoebe replied getting a shocked look from Molly.
"How about we stick with white." Molly said hoping that Phoebe would listen so that the family members wouldn't be too shocked at the wedding.
"Fine" phoebe said after a long bout of thought. "But I don't want a regular dress if you can tell by the ring this isn't going to be the most traditional wedding."
Molly gawked over the odd ring but after only just meeting Phoebe she knew that it was perfect for her soon to be daughter in law.
Bill walked into the kitchen quite suddenly, "did you hear?!" He quickly said. " Sirius black has escaped from Azkaban!"
"What?!" Phoebe said shocked, partially cause she didn't really know who that was but also because Azkaban was said to be impossible to escape.
"Oh no. This is terrible" Molly exclaimed. " that means the wedding can't happen anytime soon."
Phoebe looked over to bill with an amused smile on her faces as he said practically reading her mind.
"I don't think Phoebe and I even wanted the wedding to happen anytime soon."
"What why?"
"Well because we just got engaged I think we should give it some time to sink in before we jump into planning and whatnot."
And with that, the twins came barreling down the stair followed by the rest of the Weasleys ready for breakfast with Molly was cooking in between talking to her son and his fiancé about the wedding.
" say bill, how come we're not allowed in the studio?" Fred queried. 
"Because I said so." Bill responded with a sort of sassy look on his face.
"Well I think that we ought to know why you said so if it's just a room." George jumped in.
"Well if you two just know it's full of cursed artifacts we must take to the bank when we go to England." Phoebe covered for Bill.
"Wicked," the twins said in unison.

As the album let it bleed played in the background Bill was quietly humming along while cleaning up. Most of the family had gone out with phoebe to see the sights of Egypt but Fred had stayed back, quite odd since he was almost never without his twin.
"Hey, Bill?" Fred said quietly almost as if he was afraid of what he was going to say.
"Yes, Fred?" Bill replied not sure what was going to happen since his brother was pretty much almost unpredictable.
Since Fred was going into his fifth year bill almost expected him to ask him for advice about girls but he was wrong.
" I think I'm gay." Fred blurted out sighing as he fell to the couch.
"What makes you say that Fred" bill questioned
"I kissed this boy named Orion, and I didn't mind it" he explained, "in fact, I liked it so much I kissed him again." By now Fred was scared about what Bill was going to say.
" well since you kissed him, did you ask him out?"
"Yes"
"Great!" Bill exclaimed. "Can't go around kissing people without asking them on a date."
Fred sighed in relief he was so scared about what bill was going to say to him. He honestly wasn't sure what to expect.
"Have you told anyone?" Bill asked.
"No just you," Fred said. "What should I do?"
" I think you should tell people be proud of it." Bill said " in fact while it isn't widely accepted by a lot of muggles, they had this thing called pride parades where people who are LGBTQ come together and celebrate their sexuality"
Fred looked really excited about it after finding out that the parade is at the end of the month. Asking bill if he could take him and Orion to the parade bill of course said yes.
"I have something I think you will like." Bill walked out of the room into his room and grabbed the pride flag that Phoebe had, they went to pride together last year with her transgender friend Heather, Phoebe herself was bisexual.
"what's this?" Fred asked after being handed the flag.
"It's called a pride flag that's what people bring to pride and just have." Bill said. "Never be ashamed of who you are Fred even if It isn't considered the normal, who ever like being normal"
"Thank you bill," Fred said as he hugged his brother.

It's a lot to unpack in one chapter so it's a total of 874 words but I hope y'all liked it don't worry I won't just leave Fred's story behind I plan on make a story for Fred as well
