i could feel my heartbeat on my lips
kissing you in the woods
but then catastrophic calamities
distracted me from you
and forced me to focus on myself.
though im not physically well,
this is the best ive felt without him.
and now,
pampered with medicine
setting alarms
giving me something better to look forward to.
