Sasha's POV
"Congratulations graduates!" The room bursts into cheers and I watch everyone throwing their caps into the air. I look at them funny knowing they will all spend minutes trying to find theirs again.
We file through the rows to leave. Once we are back in the room, I find Emily and Gianna.
Knowing how they work, this is probably the last time I will see them. I honestly dont feel sad because the only time I was around them was the time of books.
"Sasha, we did it!" Emily says with tears in her eyes.
"I can't believe we finally graduated." Gianna says. She looks a little teary eyed too. Seems they are sad, I didn't think they would be.
Is this when a person with the correct levels of emotional capacity feels sad? I ask myself. It makes me wonder if I should fake it, but I am out of practice with that.
"Let us enjoy today." I tell them. I feel like having an interesting goodbye with them since I am seeing them for the last time.
They both smile and pull me to them. Together we walk out to find our families.
I spot Travis as soon as we move out. I give him a huge smile just before he runs over and swoops me off my feet into his arms.
"Congratulations, little worm." He says while I happily bury my face into his neck.
"Thank you, Trav." I say as he set me down on my designer, black heels he brought me from France.
Trav is my closest friend. I met him in high school when he helped me do my business work that was making me pull on my hair in the library.
He really saved me from it, he was better than my lecturer. He was wise, friendly and funny making our friendship grow faster and easier.
We became even closer when I found him at the night club where I had gone alone because I had no friends to go with. From then, we started hanging out more often.
He became both my school and outside-school friend which made him my closest, because I had no such a friend. School friends would be school friends and outside-school also had different friends.
Everyone made comments of how we could make a nice couple, but we could only laugh at the comments. He was never my type and I think I was not his either.
Travis was really handsome with his always neatly combed blonde hair and a great body that needed just a little bit of gym to look more healthy.
He was not that masculine, just a thin well toned body that really was appreciative.
His blue eyes were quite hypnotic, judging from the way girls couldn't control their selves around him. His kind of handsome is what I call 'cute'.
He was always that college horny boy, whose life moved around school, nightclubs and girls obviously. He always slept around, that is the only one thing that I had to hate about him, but the fact that he was wise gave me a reason to stay close friends with him.
That was all before he went to France to finish college from there and came back just a few months back to work at his brother's company.
"These are my friends, Emily and Gianna." I introduce them.
